1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the time it took...
This movie is, without a doubt, THE worst movie I have ever seen! It actually gets "O" stars for my rating. For many years, that title belonged to "Red Dawn" hands-down but this has, unfortunately, topped it. The acting is SO bad that it is offensive (did they actually get paid?!). Half the time the actors who were supposed to have 'middle-eastern accents' would forget that little fact and start speaking without one - in mid-sentence. The plot of the movie is that a plane (a very small one - yet it had an elevator - yes, an elevator!) is hijacked (by how many terrorists? - who knows - it seemed you could never get a confirmed number) and on board there turns out to be an air marshal to save the day. Appropriately, and soon enough, we got to see this "super-man" type character bare-chested, karate-chopping and "hi-yah!"-ing his way all over this rather small aircraft, most of the time without the knowledge of the other terrorists. And, as always, they have to stick in a little kid that is wise beyond his years and can figure out things adults cannot (it didn't even phase a flight attendant that at one point the child was in control of flying the aircraft). Eli Danker, the 'head' terrorist, gives his usual performance but I wished he could not be associated with this film at all. As a matter of fact, my strong suggestion is that all of the people associated with this film in any way, shape or form NEVER go near any type of camera equipment, film studio or even a movie theater ever again! Bottom line - whether you spend money to rent this movie or you see it for free you'll be sorry! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Bad
Another movie using actresses seemingly straight out of soft porn. It's fun to watch them die onscreen sure, but it's redundant. I'm not surprised to read it's by the Shark Attack people. They're terrible too, but of course if they make a #4, I will rent it knowing it will be stupid.

2-0 out of 5 stars Another lame Shark Movie
Bad acting and bad effects make this movie awful. This movie was a little intresting, but could have been WAY WAY better. They coppied the same scenes from Shark Attack 2 and showed them over and over. When lots of great white sharks are killing tons of people at a beach resort ,its up to Wagner to kill them.It got pretty borring and made me want to go to sleep.Im warning you,do not see this movie!

2-0 out of 5 stars Shark Attack 4?
It might as well be, since it was made by Nu Image (the production company behind the Shark Attack films) and most of the crew members worked on the Shark Attack films. The plot's fairly simple: a school of sharks terrorize San Francisco, with a suplot about the Russian mafia thrown in for padding. I read some bad reviews for this movie before I rented the DVD last Saturday, so that's maybe why I sort of liked it, since I was expecting a bad movie. The acting wasn't very good, and the sharks were about 90% stock footage. The other methods were:
1. Scenes lifted from Shark Attack 2 (2000)
2. A very brief video-game quality CGI shot
3. Plastic fins
4. Scenes lifted from Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (2002)
5. Brief shots of a rubbery mouth.
6. A brief shot of an explosion from either Octopus (1999) or Jaws 3 (1982). It's hard to tell.
The sharks, which are great whites, don't act like sharks. For starters, they growl and roar, just like the sharks in Shark Attack 2 (2000). Second, great whites never swim in schools. They are independent creatures. And of course, sharks don't actually like the taste of people, but oh well. Another problem was the subplot, which was pretty boring and useless, except for padding, which I mentioned before. The acting isn't very good, and the music is dull and boring. Just one more thing: a couple people said the sharks ate a lot of people. Don't forget, there are 5 or 6 sharks in this movie, and together they only off about 25 people. As for the DVD, it's presented in full frame, which is really stupid. There are no special features, save for a 90-second trailer. I recommend only a rental, unless you like it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Way too much easy killing for sharks, way too many deaths.
The death toll in Shark Zone makes Jaws look like a friendly flick by comparison. Sure, it's fun to once in a while see that actor or actress we don't care too much for to be ripped to pieces, but there was way too much killing here to be believable.

Plus, the people facing the sharks who knew what they were up against were idiots. They didn't bring any real defense or defensive equipment with them that someone who normally has 'intelligence' would do.

There was like half a dozen fatalities in every scene and they were at least 5 or 6 in the movie.

I don't know if they just wanted a movie here for people who love seeing bunches of people get eaten alive or if they honestly expected me to believe that in real life, people would all be that stupid. I didn't even see a single spear gun in the movie or a single diver shoot or stab a single shark.

You'd think those dumb-ass idiots in the cages would take a hint and at least stock up on more weaponry. Survival IS important, is it not?

1-0 out of 5 stars So horrible it was funny
This movie was so bad it was funny. Although it was ment to be serious, the bad acting, plot, and "shark attacks" made it hillarious. If you want a good laugh go ahead and rent it, don't waste your money on buying it. ... Read more
