4-0 out of 5 stars It's Swell, Cats.
HELLCATS contains a lot of the typical bad movie-making decisions that have entertained and pained MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 fans for years. Most of the so-called action is centered on a group of angry bikers. They get into fights, become engaged in terrible musical numbers and don't really do much of anything else besides party. While some MST3k movies are simply entertaining in their awfulness, HELLCATS is not a film whose faults could really enjoyed without the commentary, because the biggest flaw of this movie is its sheer boredom.

This movie is one of the most grotesquely padded films that I've ever seen. MST3k often mocked short instructional films that were no longer than 30 minutes, and if HELLCATS had been reduced to that length, it would still have been too long. Everything seems to take to hours to occur and absolutely nothing is worth the wait. Episodes like this can sometimes spell real trouble for the viewer, because if the jokes from Joel and the bots aren't up to the usual standard then there is no obvious entertaining badness to distract us. Thankfully, HELLCATS managed to coax some hilarious one-liners out of the gang, and we're spared the thought of having to survive the film without the needed lifeline of wisecracks and puns.

The DVD is packaged with the original trailer, which interestingly would give one the impression that this film is all about the various women who hang out with bikers and their naughty and taboo adventures. Shockingly, the movie is absolutely nothing like the trailer. The DVD also comes with the uncut, unedited original version of HELLCATS, which just goes to show that the people at Best Brains, Inc. are not only funny folks, but also tireless philanthropists, dedicated to wiping insomnia off the face of the Earth.

2-0 out of 5 stars One of the worst MST3K episodes...
Forgive me for saying so, all you MSTies out there like myself, but isn't this movie just a little TOO bad? I mean, even if Joel and the Bots were in their best-ever form (which they absolutely aren't in this episode), would it really be worth it to sit through this cinematic atrocity? Well, maybe if they were as funny as in Pod People, one of their best, but still when a movie is just too bad, it seems like the writers have too much to work with and just work on the obvious (e.g. bad music, long senseless scenes, corny dialouge, no plot whatsoever). But as in Pod People, where its bad, but its production values are just good enough to have the MST3K writers sweat a bit, the episode seems to be much better than usual.

I would provide some of the best lines from this episode, but there really aren't any. By the by, stay away from CATALINA CAPER also, for similar reasons.

5-0 out of 5 stars At their best in season 2, Hellcats delivers non-stop laughs
Until I discovered MST3K I'd never even seen a "B" movie "biker" picture, but the writers and cast of MST3K always seem to be at their best when making fun of these low-budget stories about sociopaths and societal drop-outs. I was overjoyed when I found out that Hellcats would be offered on DVD as this and the other season 2 gem, "Wild Rebels" are to me among the very best MST3K episodes ever. The stupidity of the characters and dialogue is funny all on its own, but the cast of MST3K raise the humor level many notches and never let up on the poor direction, acting or plot for a second. They even manage to make the music in this film fun and you'll be humming "the bike song" after the closing credits.

One cinematic footnote regards a misidentification I believe of the film's director, Bob Slatzer, who is actually the stockier fellow of the two main "gangsters" and not the thinner one pointed out by Joel and the 'Bots during the picture. I discovered this when I saw Bob Slatzer interviewed in a documentary about Marilyn Monroe. But, this minor error does nothing to diminish the quality and quantity of the humor in this episode, which is so dense with jokes that you'll catch something new each time you watch it. Buy this now!

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the first great episodes
If you're like me, and i think many people are, you got in to mst3k too late. you caught it on it's switch to sci-fi, and feel like you missed out on the comedy central episodes which old school fans love so much.

well first of all let me say that i now have every single episode of mst3k, and i claim categorically that the sci-fi era is better. but the comedy central episodes (which are the only ones that are available on dvd) are still great, and hellcats is a good one to check out in your effort to discover the older era of mst3k.

hellcats was aired early in the second season, and is one of the first episodes that is truly hilarious (season 1 was not as funny as later seasons, i hate to say). the skits in this episode are flashbacks, clip-show-style, to skits from earlier episodes, so they provide a nice smorgasbord of mst3k humor. the movie is bad and the music is funny, which we all know makes for great riffing from joel and the bots.

so sit back and enjoy "hellcats, careening down the street..."

p.s, if you're confused by all the ross hagen/"chili peppers burn my gut" references in this episode, check out "sidehackers" which is available in the mst3k collection vol. 3 boxed dvd set.

4-0 out of 5 stars Motorcycle mamas on a highway to Hell!
Ah, the 'other' Ross Hagen motorcycle movie. Reading his bio on IMDb it says at one time he ran an acting school...oh bruther! Well, while Hellcats was certainly prime for the Mystie treatment, a better one to watch is Sidehackers, another Ross Hagen/motorcycle epic.

Ross is a some sort of law enforcement agent who goes undercover to infiltrate a goofy biker gang after his brother is killed. For some strange reason, Ross teams up with his murdered brothers' girlfriend to achieve this. I will admit that after awhile, I just stopped trying to figure out what was going on in the movie, and just focused on the humor provided by Joel and the 'bots. I did notice a lot of dancing (cough, cough), beer swilling, and general activities you would associate with a psuedo 60's hippie biker gang. Probably the funniest part in the movie for me was when the leader of the biker gang is challenged to a race by the leader of another biker gang. We're treated to about five minutes of watching the people watching the race. I mean, we don't even get to see the race, only hear the reving of engines as the riders supposedly race around. I'm not sure why they couldn't have included some footage of the actual race, being that this is a movie that's heavy on the whole motorcycle thing, but whatever...it wouldn't have made the movie any better.

While this isn't my favorite episode, it's still really funny and worth getting if you're a fan. Not a lot of extras on this one except the trailer and the flipside of the disc has the un-mystiefied version of the movie. ... Read more

For Angel Grace, this opportunity is too good to pass up, and she enlists the help of a doctor who promises her great endowments with a secret beauty enhancement program. 5-0 out of 5 stars The 50 foot woman grows 60 feet taller!!!
No she is not The 50 foot woman but this Centerfold is bigger, badder and better the the other one!And look! now she has someone to fight about who has a bigger bust than the the other in the middle of Hollywood! I did enjoy this one better then the other movie. The reason i bought this movie and probbobly why all the other men who bought this movie was becuase of the picture on the case,it was a picture of J.J. North in a ripped up white bikini (witch didn't hide much) peeking behind a skyscrapper while a fire truck was at her feet.I think this movie deserves five stars because well, just look at the case.

3-0 out of 5 stars great campy movie
this is a funny great b-movie, with lots of beauful women, and a huge jj north as the sexy centerfold. the ending is pretty good, for anyone who likes b-movies, this is a must buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars JJ North is Incredible!
JJ North is one of the most beautiful women to land in any B-movie in the last twenty years. It's heartbeaking this stunning actress has not done more. This movie is what B-movies are about. It's fun and filled with incredibly pretty women. If you're looking for Oscar winning acting look elsewhere. If you want silly fun, you shouldn't miss this. My only complaint is that there wasn't nearly enough of the dark and sexy Nikki Fitz.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Most Colossal Catfight Ever Filmed!
J.J. North stars as Angel Grace, a drop dead gorgeous model who is insecure about her looks. She goes to a doctor who has developed a formula that will enhance her natural beauty. She drinks a certain amount every day, to help give her an edge over her competitors for centerfold of the year. This comedy is a thinly veiled cautionary tale about the dangers of drugs. As the effects of the beauty formula wear off quicker, Angel increases the dosage. By taking an overdose, her body grows to gigantic proportions. Jay Richardson as the humorous Hugh Hefner-like magazine publisher, and Tim Abell as the photographer, conspire to keep her from getting an antidote. They figure they can make millions off her as a colossal centerfold. This comedy is also a thinly veiled indictment of the way men exploit women. The luscious Tammy Parks plays Betty, Angel's main rival for centerfold of the year. When she finds out about Angel's beauty enhancement, she consumes a massive amount of the formula and also grows to massive proportions. The catfight between these two gorgeous giants is the highlight of the movie. This comedy is really a thinly veiled guilty pleasure!

3-0 out of 5 stars Babe-a-liscious!
Normally I would give a disc with absolutely no extras (except for 3 trailers for other Corman movies) 2 stars but I gave it an extra one since the price is so right. J.J. North is a babe beyond belief in this ripoff...er uh, I mean tribute to 50's sci-fi flicks such as 50 Foot Woman. REALLY bad special effects mixed with mostly forced perspective shots make for a fun flick with cameos by other favorites of mine like Nikki Fritz and Michelle Bauer. The catfight between the two female giants through downtown LA is a hoot and gives us the best line from the movie: "My God! Look at the size of those T*TS!!" ... Read more

Elvis looks sleek and cool in Speedway, a decided improvement over the pasty indifference he displayed in his middle-era range of pictures. The movie itself is standard Presley formula, with the King again playing a race-car driver, this time in trouble with an IRS agent (Nancy Sinatra) over his taxes. (There's even a production number about taxes. Argggh.) On the plus side, a bunch of scenes are set in the Hangout, a Pulp Fiction-esque diner with booths shaped like cars and lots of dancers doing the frug. Nancy sings a cool-weird Lee Hazlewood tune, "Your Groovy Self," which should have been picked up by the Austin Powers folks. The plot reflects Elvis's real-life penchant for giving money and cars away, although it's mostly predatory manager Bill Bixby who causes the financial problems. As ho-hum as this outing is, you'll probably want one of Elvis's racing-stripe windbreakers after you see it. --Robert Horton ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A light hearted fun Elvis movie....
If you haven't seen this movie I would recommend you give it a try! Elvis is very funny in this movie his great sense of humor really shines through. The story line is also very close to how generous he was in his own life. The song performed "Let your self go" is very entertaining. I also enjoyed watching the chemistry between Elvis and Nancy!
The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars was because I personally didn't enjoy all the racing scenes. Defiantly in my all time top ten favorite Elvis movies!

5-0 out of 5 stars Bring your groovy selves on home and let yourselves go!
Everything about "Speedway" is as groovy as Elvis always performs. I just love the way Nancy Sinatra performed the song "Your Groovy Self" and the way she moved around as she sang. Nancy's really hot! Bill Bixby was quite hilarious. Elvis' song "Let Yourself Go" is super cool. The scene where Elvis sang "Your Time Hasn't Come Yet, Baby" to the little girl was kind of cute. And the sounds of those roaring engines in the race were very much electrifying. Some of the plots really did show off Elvis' real-life self as the generous and giving person he was. He buys for a friend and his 5 little girls a brand new station wagon, also helps out a troubled waitress with her upcoming wedding. Unfortunately Bixby's character messes everything up for Steve Grayson (Elvis), by betting Steve's money on the horses, instead of paying for those things Elvis bought for his friends, and besides makes an outrageous tax claim form for Steve, with deductions such as perfumed record albums and [money]for air? Oh yes! Lucille Ball's "Mr. Mooney" was kinda funny too and was excellent for the role of the head IRS agent R.W. Hepworth. When I first saw this movie in the theater I cracked up at the "He's Your Uncle, Not Your Dad!" sequence. It was funny it was cool. Just everything about "Speedway" is superbly exciting. But what else could you expect out of a movie that starres the king of rock and roll! And lets not forget Nancy Sinatra who is more than just the icing on that cake. It's not everyday you see such a gorgeous tax collector. I give this film a perfect A+. It's just loaded with the stuff! "Speedway" is an honest to goodness must see.

5-0 out of 5 stars A cool movie!
ENTERTAINING film with a GREAT looking cover! LETTER-BOXED and restored! I love reading all of the negative reviews here on AMAZON...shows it takes all kinds of people to make a world. These films were made for ELVIS fans and to be ENTERTAINING...I have no idea how someone could even compare ELVIS and NANCY SINATRA to BEN and JENNIFER LOPEZ?

5-0 out of 5 stars Ok guys, This is a groovy, cool and sexy movie
If Austin powers were really in the groovy 60's. he'd be in this movie. with that said, yeah Elvis was embarrassed here and there but you can't get over how incredibly cool Elvis is in nearly every scene. Sinatra is a bit miscast cus Elvis blows her out of the water. but she adds a little somethin sweet here and there but Elvis is still the victor.

Bill Bixby you guys!! he is great in this movie as Elvis's manager and he is funny from start to finish and his chemistry with Elvis is the best i've seen from an Elvis movie (Ever) not overestimating.
"Your time hasen't come yet baby" is great and "let yourself go" is very cool and Elvis is enjoying himself as if he knows he's making cool look good again since pappa sinatra.
this is one of if not the best Elvis movie during the last 3 years of his films next to a dramatic and very surreal Change of Habbit.

5-0 out of 5 stars Your Groovy Self
OK, people, we are talking 1968 here. Granted, this movie isn't War and Peace, but was never intended to be. Elvis, by the time this movie was filmed, knew there was no chance of being considered a serious actor, although that was his dream.

The chemistry between Elvis and Nancy Sinatra is very evident...on and off the screne. Great friends and they had a blast making this movie. I recall Nancy saying they would ride around the MGM lot on a bicycle built for two when tour buses would come around and the heads would turn. That sounds like an enjoyable experience to me. The film is enjoyable, funny, and for its time, the racing scenes are action packed.

It doesn't get any better than Nancy singing "Your Groovy Self" with the blonde hair, [lightened around her face more for the movie] and those smokey, almond eyes. WOW!

BTW, Nancy was the only performer to have a solo song included on a Presley album. Impressive and enjoyable.

SPEEDWAY, is a fast paced, fun loving, Elvis flick that just happens to "tickle me". Sorry, couldn't resist. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool comedy thriller
I really liked this movie. Justin Berfield is always great and Robert Carridine was a likeable Dad. My favorite was the humorous villain, Mr X played by the British star Martin Jarvis. I loved him in Titanic and Buster and here he was different again - keen to dominate the world, just like a James Bond bad guy. Great fun - all our family loved it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Justin Berfield
Justin Berfield Defenatly adds Major Pionts, cuz he is soooo Hott! This movie is only good cuz of him!

5-0 out of 5 stars it's okay
The best thing about this movie is that Justin Berfield is extremely good-looking and funny. Otherwise it was sorta corny. Check out "Mom, can I keep her"; Justin is in that one too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Justin is a diamond in the rough
This seemed like a typical young kid vs. bad guys movie. But having Justin Berfield as the star made it a 5 star film. He has such good comic timing. The scene in the middle was classic---where Justin was fixing macaroni & cheese and he was singing and dancing in his uncle's kitchen.

3-0 out of 5 stars Typical kiddie fodder
Were it not for Justin Berfield starring, I probably would have passed on this one. He is one of my favorite young actors though, so I gave it a view. The story was good and there was plenty of action; but the rest of the actors were only so-so. (Especially the girl who played the lifeguard; she seemed bored.) If you're a fan of Justin's work---check out the TV show "Unhappily Ever After". Justin is way funnier than his older brother on the show. ... Read more

Tough biker babes stomp a couple of vicious racist rapists and then cool their heels in a rural commune while the men hit the road for a biker rally (they actually spend most of their time getting drunk and passing out). The vacation is short-lived when the women discover the seemingly peace-loving guru is actually a drug kingpin with a vicious gang and a side business in human sacrifices. That's just one of the unexplained twists in this oddball thriller made at the end of the biker-movie craze. When the genre died, according to producer Sam Sherman, they couldn't give the film away so director Al Adamson reshot it to cash in on the explosion of female-centered action pictures. The result is a schizophrenic production, a biker buddy film full of macho posturing and brutal violence against women that suddenly gives way to girl-gang vengeance. Cameraman Gary Graver (Orson Welles's F for Fake) uses the California desert and back roads to good effect and frees his camera to leap into the dynamic free-for-all brawl and the high-powered chase that climaxes the film. But for all the wild, butt-kicking energy of the Angels' women, it's the men to the rescue.

The DVD features a commentary by producer Sam Sherman, along with a newly recorded introduction, a profile taken from the cable TV series Split Screen, and trailers to this and four other Al Adamson-Sam Sherman collaborations. --Sean Axmaker ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Vro-o-om, vro-o-om
An independent biker film with cheap production values and a swiss cheese plot that will probably become a cult classic in a few years. Hard to follow the theme in some places. Utterly forgettable. I will probably give my copy away.

4-0 out of 5 stars End of an Era
Al Adamson was always much better at making action films, especially those starring bikers, than the horror films he is mostly known for. "Satan's Sadists", for example, is still one of the best biker films ever made. However, in the early 1970s he found himself stuck with a just completed biker film at a time when the public had grown bored with biker films and stopped attending. So, seeing the success of films about groups of tough women like Roger Corman and Jack Hill's Pam Grier prison films, he decided to change the emphasis of the film and its marketing. Thus Angels' Wild Women was created, placing greater focus on the women in the bike group and ads greatly exaggerating how tough and mean they are were released.

Actually, the bikers in the film are quite tame. In contrast to Al's classic "Satan's Sadists", this film provides a positive perspective on bikers. The men do get into a bit of macho posturing, but otherwise they're nice folk looking for fun and freedom.

The plot of this film is quite worthwhile, however, and provides an excellent look at the end of an era. When the film was made, the Manson family trials had just occurred, which led those equating Manson's family with the hippies to declare that the hippy movement was dead. This movie, which was largely shot at the Spahn ranch, out of which Manson operated, taps into this.

The plot is simple: The females of the Angels gang are left on their own while the men attend a convention with another gang. One of the Angels gets involved with a love cult run by a sadist while visiting a ranch, and it is up to the other women to try to get her out after she learns that the leader is a criminal. Thus tragedy enters the Angels' attempt at creating a new society based on love and freedom. The women are all portrayed strongly and positively, however, it is up to the men to come to their rescue in the end. As with most of Adamson's action films, not all the good guys survive, and a certain level of sadness underlines the fun and excitement.

Though a well acted and directed movie with a decent script, Angels' Wild Women is more like a good action movie than great art like "Easy Rider", but is similar in its bitter-sweet examination of the end of an era.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent, but falls short
Biker gangs cruising around, causing little trouble.

Having scene Satan's Sadists first, I was not as impressed with AWW. The chicks could have been a little meaner and some more violence might have helped. Dragged at several spots. ... Read more

The Organization was the second and finalsequel to 1967's In the Heat of the Night and sees Sidney Poitier's homicide detective Virgil Tibbs called in to investigate the murder of a factory manager. In a lengthy, dialogue-free opening (the film's best sequence), it appears that we are witnessing the culprits in action. However, this group turns out to be a gang of idealistic young vigilantes who knew that the factory was a front for an international drugs cartel--the Organization of the title--and have made off with a haul of $5 million worth of heroin secreted there. Suspected of the manager's murder, they meet Tibbs and seek his cooperation. He agrees to help them, pitting himself not only against the Organization but his own police department.

Set in San Francisco, The Organization invites invidious comparisons with Bullitt: its somewhat cheesy contemporary soundtrack, derived from Miles Davis' Bitches Brew, certainly marks it as a piece of its period, as do the occasionally less-than-convincing action sequences, risible acting, and far-fetched plot. Poitier, as ever, lends the film a certain dignity and poise, worthy of better material to work with than this. The film is also notable for providing early showcases for two of Cop TV's most famous captains: Daniel J. Travanti (Hill Street Blues) and Bernie Hamilton (later Captain Dobey in Starsky & Hutch) are both assigned minor roles here. --David Stubbs ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars "Is this the reason Poitier took a hiatus from movies?"
This is without doubt one of the worst movies ever made! Wooden acting, poor picture quality and a soundtrack that made my teeth grate. Being a Poitier fan and language student, I got it for the foreign language subtitles. A die hard movie buff might want to see it for the early wasted performances of some fine actors, including Raul Julia as a "Hippy". I often disagree with the critics for lacking a sense of fun, but this turkey deserves all their venom. If you decide to see it, I suggest you use earplugs and just read the subtitles. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars At least they tried
What this is is an attempt to edit two seperate episodes of The Virginian tv series into one story. The story line of two brothers (Bronson and Marvin) and the seperate paths they took would have worked better had there been smoother editing. It becomes most painfully obvious during the final five minutes. Beyond that, if you would like to see both actors in their earlier years, rent if possible.

1-0 out of 5 stars HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
I'm still wondering how in the world Hollywood's two of the best stars got into this terrible mess! What a waste! Charlie & Marvin fans should stay away from this one. Regardless of the reviews that I read from IMDB I bought this DVD last year & I'm still regreting it. Take my advise, keep this away from your collection.

1-0 out of 5 stars Too expensive for an EP tape.
I'd advice anybody to stay away from this tape, even Bronson-fans. Don't get me wrong; it's a fine little TV-western, Bronson's good as always, it's a good cast in general, but the picture quality is not very good. -But that's just a minor problem. In fact, the tape's in the awful EP mode. -And at such a hefty price, too. Very disappointing, indeed. Shame on you "Goodtimes Home Video", for releasing something like this, at a price the double of what it's really worth. It would be nice if "Amazon.com" could note the speed-mode of the tapes. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Not great, but not AWFUL! A "GROANER"
I had the opportunity to see this film BEFORE it was released.
I got so lucky because the female lead in this movie, Sandy Brooke, was my STEP-SISTER at the time, so the whole family was anxious to see it. I still have the PRE-RELEASE version on tape.

I DO wish that the makers of the film had had a little bigger F/X budget. Some of the F/X shots in this movie came from "BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS". Others from the TV series "BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25th CENTURY". I really hate it when film makers do things like that.

I have to agree with "A VIEWER from North Carolina", STAR SLAMMER had the potential for camp, but didn't quite make it. HOWEVER, I do NOT think it's awful. It's a good movie if you want to have a few chuckles. As I said, it's a "GROANER", but that doesn't make it AWFUL! (I say that with love Sis, just in case you read this review)

Some of the fun of this movie comes from knowing a few of the BEHIND-THE-SCENES secrets. For Example: the actress who portrayed the Warden of the "STAR SLAMMER" supplied all her own wardrobe!

1-0 out of 5 stars just plain awful
this is a very boring film. It has potential for camp, but doesn't utilize it. Is this the same Fred Olen Ray who directed the classics "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers" and "Bikini Hoe-Down"? Where is the humor in this flick?

It has the look of sci-fi T&A, but practically no T or A.

The acting, as might be expected, is horrible (althouth the lead is pretty and engaging), but so is the dialogue and plotting. What is John Carradine doing in his cameo? ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not to shabby
This movie has an easy plot to follow, and does keep it interesting thru out it all. There are some tasteful sex scenes, and is worth it.

The plot: Telephone repair man overhears a woman talking about killing her sister, knows wich house, goes there and finds that there are two sisters living there and doesn't know wich one is trying to kill who. Trys to figure it out. Blah blah blah blah. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Bad Script Sinks Sexy Thriller
This just-about-average erotic thriller is about as thrilling as having a hammer dropped on your head. Is the movie about: A) the problems of fidelity in the lives of an American couple? B)The pitfalls of gambling? C) The decadence of the wealthy? or D) lotsa wild, yet soft-X, sex?

I couldn't tell. All I was sure of was that the movie was a bare-bones rip-off of "Indecent Proposal", with a pointless mob subplot to prop up the unraveling story. Granted, Tane McClure and Gabriella Hall are hotties, and the sex scenes do have some steam, so the movie isn't a total disaster, but ultimately, there's just not much to recommend here.

5-0 out of 5 stars Full moon's best ever!!
The movie takes place a great carnival. The group of teens go out on a double date and dr.graves one by one starts to give them what they always wanted!!If you like this take a look at the dead hate the living by full moon!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Yawn.
Slow and talky; no thrills, no chills. For something better or at least more fun in the genre, go with the original, Freaks, or try Freaked, or Mutations (a.k.a. The Freakmaker).

2-0 out of 5 stars A Freakish Journey
I gave this film a rating of two out of five stars. I think the idea of a circus sideshow, complete with grotesque freaks is a terribly wonderful idea. Although there are fewer and fewer traveling circus' displaying freaks these days, the topic is wide open for horror interpretations. I enjoyed a couple of the characters, but thought that overall this film could have been given a little more life with better writing and directing. This film should have had a grittier atmosphere and more gore. For a superior film about traveling circuses, I would recommend Something Wicked This Way Comes. I gave this film two stars out out five, although ti was somewhat closer too a 1.5 on a five star scale. If you can rent it, as for buying it...thats up to you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great thriller...all of the sudden ending!
A well-done horror flick, kind of in the same vain as The Funhouse (1981). The ending was kind of unexpected, I won't give away the plot... I'm still trying to tie it in with the ending of the film. The most attractive person in the film is in a wheelchair...thats a different twist, not expected. Well- done sets and costumes, great sideshow acts. It has the guy from Ghoulies 2 in it...he's always a crowd pleaser. Great flick! ... Read more

Sometimes justice is against the law. Matt McCoy (The Hand That Rocks the Cradle) and Kelly LeBrock (Weird Science) star in this tale of a notorious bounty hunter who hangs up his guns to become the owner of Boomtown Saloon. Running a business is not the vacation he envisioned when he winds up caught between the law and three "working girls" with revenge on their mind. It all climaxes with a nerve shattering, three way shootout at high noon in this fast moving Western that helps put the "wild" back into the Wild West. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money
Ridiculous story. The only good thing about this movie is the soundtrack. Such a waste of good music. Just pitiful.

4-0 out of 5 stars Hard Bounty
Thought this was a well made movie with a lot of action in it. I thought it brought to life the women had back in those days to survive.

3-0 out of 5 stars hard bounty
I'm a Rochelle Swanson fan and to me there wasn't enough of her as she is only a minor character. But she does look great as usual.

2-0 out of 5 stars not a very good movie.
This is definetly not a good movie, but it's not one of the worst i've seen either. But it's still not worth buying.

2-0 out of 5 stars Cheezy Western
This is a cheezy western where beautiful prostitutes hunt down a cowboy for revenge. It's probably not worth buying on DVD. It's got a small amount of violence and brief nudity, while being mildly entertaining. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars brad lake is the man
what a movie.....the acting is terrible the women are very unattractive apart from tammy parks and the plot and story line is awful, thats why i loved it. I watched the movie for the first time and laughed my head off, especially at the large fonts brad lake uses to seduce the women on line. The acting is so funny especially when he is having sex with that blonde girl and his wife is down stairs and he goes shhhhhhhhh...I mean it makes me wonder why he cheated on his wife she is the only decent looking woman on the film.Anyways if you like cheesy movies then please buy this you wont regret it itll be an instant classic and youll be quoting lines from the film till the day you die such as, "good game" or "your hotter than the fire baby" or "i wouldnt mind her serving my balls" or "there was this chick in vegas named julie she was the girlfriend of the mobster veto popadompali he practically owned the strip it was tough game messing with one of vetos girls but julie just wasnt any chick she just turned veto and his boys to the da got em a state sentence put him and his boys in the slammer and speaking of slammer thats just what i wanted to do to julie," ahhhhhh priceless

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic
As erotic movie goes, this is got to be one of the best I ever seen. I mean the plot is average at best, the wife got murdered by the sister to get the husband into bed is a bit daft. but no one watches these films for the STORY don't they. they watch it because of the erotic quailty of the film, and there are plenty of nudity scene than 10 other film in the soft eroctica genre put together. from start to finish, women can't seems to take their cloths off, GREAT I say.

5-0 out of 5 stars Damn
Julie Strain and the sex goddesses in this flick will wet your willy, boys. This is gratuitous sex in it's soft-core entirety.
Julie's scene is so hot... she sucks her finger like it's something else and her boobs... yeah. You'll see.
Really convincing for simulated sex.
Good stuff, the best for the genre.

1-0 out of 5 stars horrible
saw this on accident when i was younger...wrong video in video case. it was a boring movie about a baseball washup and his flings and then there's the whole bad acting and horrible story line. it's pretty [messed] up.

4-0 out of 5 stars mm mm good....
I have watched this movie many times, and it always give me a light headed feeling as all the blood rushes south in my body!!
No plot to this movie really other then what can we do to get these women nude....but what were you expecting?
This movie gets an 8 on the strokability scale. ... Read more
