3-0 out of 5 stars UNFIT FOR FAMILY VIEWING
I was disappointed with the contents of this movie. The story was entertaining but the vulgarity and swearing was uncalled for. I am sure that the Mountain Men's language left little to be desired but I believe that in this movie it was not needed. There were a couple of sexual oriented scenes that made this movie unfit for family viewing. The era of the Mountain Men is a period in our history that we should be proud of and we should be able to share it with our families. It is hard for a parent to want our our kids to expierence the beautiful scenery and adventure of this movie and not be worried about the next scene. I own other movies of the Mountain Men era and this is the first one that I can truly say is not for family viewing.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Beginning of Accuracy
The Movie "The Mountain Men" was a great beginning in trying to display some form of Accuracy of the way life was during the fur trade era. I would like it remade with actual Indian actors, and with a longer story line. I agree it could have been made without the swearing even though the Mountain Men of old probably had a foul mouth. However, for home entertainment, it's not necessary. The movie is great at this time for anyone's collection, and until it's redone, or another of better quality is released.

4-0 out of 5 stars "Sit down, flatlander."
Hawken muzzle loaders. Plugs of chewing tobacco the size of your fist. Buffalo robes. Beaver pelts. Jugs of whiskey.

But enough about last night's party.

Director Richard Lang's THE MOUNTAIN MEN is a rough-and-tumble yarn depicting the fur trapping industry's final days in the pristine splendor of the northern Rockies. Even in such a remote region, the demand back East for top hats made of beaver skin resulted in the virtual extinction of the buck-toothed rodents in their mountain habitats; on top of that, silk hats were rapidly becoming the fashion craze, creating even more of a hardship on the gritty mountain men who trapped along countless streams and rivers, searching for what remained of the elusive beaver population.

It was a hard life, predicated on an individual's ability to survive in a harsh environment based on his wits and his bare hands. Interaction with other people was rare--the need to get along with neighboring Indian tribes a must. And infrequently, perhaps once every two or three years, the trappers would unite at a "rendezvous" to trade their pelts for cash and let off a little steam. To say that such a gathering was rowdy and violent is kind of like saying turtles have shells.

Charlton Heston "shines" (a little mountain man lingo, there) as fur trapper Bill Tyler, a quiet man who only wishes to be left alone so he can find that last valley just teeming with beaver. But there's a problem: while fighting off a band of Blackfoot bent on stealing his horses and supplies he attracts the company of a young squaw (Victoria Racimo) who happens to be married to a chief with a very serious attitude (Stephen Macht). Thus Tyler and his new companion are forced to run, and run, and run some more to escape the warrior's wrath.

While Heston is solid in his role, Brian Keith absolutely steals the show as crusty Henry Frapp. Henry, a friend of Tyler's, is a cantankerous, foul-mouthed, fun-loving old coot who vividly breathes life into the mountain man persona. Keith dominates every scene he's in, and he's fun to watch.

Heck, THE MOUNTAIN MEN is fun to watch. The screenplay, incidentally, was written by Heston's son, Fraser, who obviously did his homework concerning this fascinating aspect of the Old West. Grab a plug of tobacco and enjoy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Baudy and Entertaining
This show has a fairly good story line, fine acting and stunning scenery. I saw this show when it was first released and the one aspect of the picture that I think I loved the most is the dialect. This was the first time I ever heard 'Uncle Bill'(Brian Keith)swear! The movie might not be historically accurate, or maybe it is...I don't really know or care. I grew up in Wyoming, and the way Tyler and Frapp carry on as the grumpy, mangy, grizzled old farts that they are just seemed natural to me. The one scene when Tyler happens upon Frapp in the middle of a frozen lake(Tyler has written off Frapp after seeing him 'killed'and subsequently scalped by Indians) and remarks on the scalping "Well, it sure must have smarted some"...Frapp agrees and displays a broad patch missing hair...Take me Bill Tyler..Take me!!! HEH!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Entertaining and Instructive....for Muzzleoaders
This movie is very entertaining and very instructive for muzzleloading enthusiasts, who participate in shooting and tomahawk throwing contests at annual rendez-vous. It shows several crucial aspects of that rough life of independent, freedom-loving, beaver trappers, or mountain men. This movie may also help to promote the sale of St. Louis Hawken rifles (Heston = Chairman of the NRA) and to raise the interest in a relatively unknown historical era towards the end of the fur trade, between, say, the Lewis and Clark Expedition by the Corps of Discovery in 1803-06 and the Fall of the Alamo in 1836, a simpler historical period, clearly far before the Civil War and its gutwrenching questions raised by the abolition of slavery, and the following unreal "cowboy" wild west fights between ranchers and settlers, as portrayed by John Wayne. The somewhat flat story of this movie "Mountain Men," of "bad indians" versus "good (white male) beaver trappers," partially fighting about an indian squaw, plays out in the Rocky Mountains near the Grand Tetons (Jackson Hole, Wisconsin), just south of the border between Canada and the USA. Some individual special fights and flights are quite well executed, e.g., a jump from a cliff in a foaming river and the portrayal of very old, but still lascivious "Jim Bridger" in his suit of steel at the rendez-vous is priceless. But, don't go to see the movie for the story, but go to see it for the bawdy and rough life style of these free-spirited mountain men, their muzzleloaders and tomahawks and their acoutrements. That life is far less idyllic and Arcadian than the 1837 drawings of Alfred Miller. See it for the spectacular scenery and vistas of the Rocky Mountain. And, of course, see it for Charleston Heston, as a fairly credible 50-year old "Lion in Winter," who, initially reluctantly, but soon convincingly, hooks up with a "trophy wife" in the form of a pretty indian squaw. ... If you're looking for an unrepentantly flag-waving, pro-Bush depiction ofthe President's actions in the wake of 9/11, look no further--DC 9/11:Time of Crisis will have any fan of Michael Moore reaching for anairsickness bag. "Whoever did this isn't going to like me as president," intones Timothy Bottoms as George W. Bush, who never speaks with anything but firm resolve and terse machismo; this slick Showtime production even imagines heroic pillow talk between the President and the First Lady. Donald Rumsfield, Dick Cheney, and the rest of the administration are all portrayed as selfless and well-informed civil servants, and the movie subtly promotes the USA Patriot Act, increased military spending, and the policy of pre-emptive war. DC 9/11 also mixes documentary footage of the 9/11 attacks and rescue efforts with fictional accounts of thebehind-closed-doors meetings, which will polarize any discussion of itssubject matter. --Bret Fetzer ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Near waste of film, complete waste of a DVD
Based on a Stephen King short story, Graveyard Shift concerns a group of men trying to exterminate rats from a textile mill during the graveyard shift. What the men don't know is that there is a big rat-like monster awaiting them, and that's pretty much about it for a story and plot. The acting is sub-par to say the least, and the production values are hardly anything special. The film is not suspenseful or scary, but Graveyard Shift does have it's moments here and there, and fans of any of King's literary works could get a kick out of this. However, my main gripe is with the DVD itself. Once again we see Paramount releasing an older film on a bare bones DVD at the full list price (for examples see the Friday the 13th films, or April Fool's Day, My Bloody Valentine, or The Fan) and whenever I see that it just really gets to me. I've seen other studios release films on DVD with no or a few extras at a very cheap price (the recent release of Predator 2 on DVD for example) and I just can never understand why Paramount lists scant DVD's like Graveyard Shift at such a high price. Oh well, if you really like the movie, find it on video and save yourself some cash.

1-0 out of 5 stars THIS IS A REALLY BAD MOVIE
Very low budget, bad acting and plastic made creature are the ingredients of this STEPHEN KING adaptation. The plot is really EMPTY , it's boring and you'd like to laugh so much it is ridiculous. One more time, VERY BAD ACTING!

3-0 out of 5 stars Makes You Want To Work The Day Shift
From Horror master Stephen KIng comes this most terror filled tale yet.....Gates Falls, Main. When an abandoned textile mill is reopened several employees meet mysteriouse deaths. The Link between all the killings, they all occured between the hours of 11 pm. and 7 am. otherwise known as the graveyard shift. The sadistic mill foreman has chosen a group to clean up the mills rat infested basement, but what the workers find is a subterranean maze of tunnels lreading to the cemetary, and an unimaginable horror that comes alivew in the dead of night.
This is a bare bones movie with no dvd extras, though the dvd itself and the artwork on it, are very cool. Not the best Stephen King movie, but definately not the worst.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good b horror flick, 3 1/2 stars is my rating.
This is a good example of a b horror movie. There is plenty of gore & bloodshed to be found here. The plot is decent as well, set in a textile mill in Gates Mill, Maine because Stephen King lives in Maine. It is set in a mill that still uses the picker system instead of the automation.
The best part of the flick is the final 20 minutes when we first see the giant bat/rat demon in the basement of the mill.
David Andrews & Kelly Wolf have never starred in a movie together to the best of my knowledge, but here their chemistry & love for each other is great. David is a drifter who gets gired to work in the mill for the 3rd shift, I work 3rd also. Kelly is Jane a beautiful millworker. Stephen Macht stars as the boss of the mill. Brad Dourif stars as the loveable exterminator, too bad he only gets 5-10 minutes worth of action.
A team to clean up the basement is assigned & David is the leader, they find the bodies of the missing co-workers, some rats which are bigger than they are, but the monster stays mainly unseen until the end.
The camera work is pretty good, but at times seems like it was done just to say it was done. The fact that the movie is set during the 11pm-7am hours of 3rd shift makes the atmosphere of the movie be very good.
The directing by Singleton is sub-par at times especially when the monster is seen on the first floor instead of the basement but mainly is pretty good. The special effects & elements of suspsense in the movie are really good.

Only two things wrong with the movie: 1. The acting is sub-par at times, but not enough to really hurt the quality of the movie. 2. The pace seems a little too brisk because the movie only runs 87 minutes, I would expand on it more, esp. showing the monster more.
The best parts are: 1. When they first discover what is in the basement & their reaction to it. 2. A secretary loses some papers & goes down to the basement after them, but trips & breaks her back, then she looks to see her demise. 3. The blood & gore of the movie is enough to satisfy horror buffs.

3-0 out of 5 stars BLUE COLLAR BATS
Ten Best and Worst Things About this Movie:
1. Stephen Macht and Andrew Divoff's horrible New Englad accents, ayuh..
2. Brad Dourif's zany turn as the Exterminator.
3. Kelly Wolf's midriff.
4. David Andrews' stoic Spaghetti western performance.
5. The fact that it doesn't really resemble King's short story at all.
6. The rat/bat creature is never justified..where did it come from?
7. The rats surfing.
8. Andrews slinghost with Diet Pepsi cans.
9. The really ridiculous voice overs during the end credits.
10. The graveyard of bones.
In other words, it's a b flick with a capital B, and if you like that kind of film, you'll love GRAVEYARD SHIFT. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars I can't belive this.
When I read a book, then go to see the movie, I try to forget the novel, and not see the differences between the book and the movie, but this movie, with the book or not is hands down one of the worst horror films ever.

The special effects are horrible, and sometimes the fight/killing scenes are boring because this movie was so low budjet. And If you have read this novel, and want to see the movie just because the book was great, and you soppose that the movie will be as well...ITS NOT please don't even waste your time on this. I got this movie for free, but I'm still mad because it is a waste of my valuable time!

Differences between this and the book are too much to handle, they shouldn't even put Based on a novel by Dean Koontz, because this was nothing at all like the novel. I've seen movies based on novels before, and they had some resemblence to the novel, but this didn't AT ALL. If you have read the book I'll tell you now TRAVIS & NORA don't exist..they never get married, they never change their names, they never run off the northern California. the only things that are the same between this and this novel are Eienstein, and the Outsider...the main character is not as lovable as Travis, in fact the main character is quite annoying, and I had to sigh at some of stupid things he said. Besides Eienstein, and The Outsider there is NOTHING ELSE similar to the novel.

Watchers Reborn starts off with a dog, Eienstein, and a monster, The Outsider, escaping from a labratory...the dog is found that same day in the hills by a Detective Cop. The Outsider killes several people on his way out...Eienstien, and the Detective are not friends from the biggining, in fact, the detective shoo's him away several times, before he takes him into his home. The Detective, finds out that the dog, Eienstein is super-smart because the dog brings him a turkey sandwitch. The Detective finds out that a attractive scientist is looking for the dog because she feels that the dog is in grave danger. When the Scientist, and the Detective meet, they needless to say fall in love.

If that plot interests you then I don't hold you back from purchasing this film, but if it already sound corny...back away from it...

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesom
I do not care what anyone says. This and the other Watchers movies before this rocked! I saw the movies first then read the book. Without a doubt Watchers Reborn is the best Watchers film. Do not listen to anyone about these movies. Go watch them even if you have read the book. Besides, I have never seen a movie that was exactly based on the book. Watchers is the best series ever!

1-0 out of 5 stars BORING...
HOW MANY TIMES ARE THEY GOING TO KILL OFF THE OUTSIDER? I THINK THEY OUGHT TO JUST STICK TO THE ORIGINAL AND MAKE IT A 4 TO 6 HOUR MOVIE WITH ALL THE DETAILS OF THE BOOK AND LEAVE OUT ALL THIS EXTRA GARBAGE.

1-0 out of 5 stars WATCHER ,PLEASE BE REBORN!
I'd seen thw previous film episodes, though I cannot understand why soo many spawn inferior sequel/prequel incarnations to a hit when this movie included falter on soo many levels. Mark Hamill starred in and co-produced what is a boring film from start to finnish and should be banished unless youre a fan of Mr Hamill's give it a rental viewing first before buying, dissapoitns more than one can say, JUDGE FOR SELF!

4-0 out of 5 stars A must-see for Mark Hamill fans
if you like scary movies then this one is for you!! Dont let Watchers fool you because Watchers Reborn rocks!! It stars Mark Hamill, Lisa Wilcox(Nightmare On ELm Street) and a cameo by Kane Hodder(Jason Voorhees). It is definitly a must-see if your a Mark fan!! He plays a cop and plays it very very well!! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Funny movie
This is a cult classic, stupid movie. Avery Schreiber commands the Space Police cruiser Infinity and her crew of idiots. Infinity and her crew are near the end of their seven year mission when the police chief sends them on a jouney to rescue the Blue Star from a planet of crooks. The journey will last fifty-four years total. Along the way, Sgt. Thor falls in love with the ships robot, Galaxina (Stratton). The plot is classic B-movie, the one-liners are great and Stratton looks good in her tight satin jump suit. Who could ask for more?

1-0 out of 5 stars shockingly awful
There's nothing more awful than a comedy that isn't funny. Apparently the folks who made Galaxina were going for a kind of space-movie parody with sex, but there is exactly ONE funny bit in the movie. The bikers on the distant planet who worship Harley Davidson by bowing down to a motorcycle and going "Vroom! Vroom!" That's it. It lasts about 10 seconds, and pfft, end of funny. Quite honestly, has there EVER been a funny space-movie parody besides "Galaxy Quest?" Ever? Nope. And this one isn't either. The jokes are so bad, and so labored, and take so long to arrive, and are delivered so badly, that it's agonizing.

The sex part? THERE ISN'T ANY. Not unless you count the scene in the space bordello, which is neither sexy nor funny. So the movie fails on both counts; it's not funny, and it's not sexy. It just sort of flops around from disconnected scene to disconnected scene. All the guys in the movie are slimy cheeseballs with open shirts and ASCOTS. And then there's Avery Schreiber. Avery Schreiber. Who told this guy he was funny? Can we sue them? Was he funny? Ever?

And what was this movie shot on? I mean, the whole film is blurry. It's out of focus all the way through. I've seen MP3's with better image resolution than this movie.

The only thing that might make this dreadful failure worth watching at all, for even five seconds, is Dorothy Stratton. Poor Dorothy. She can't act, of course, but she is beautiful, even in the sublimely stupid outfits they put her in here. And she goes through this thing like a trooper, doing exactly what she's supposed to, which is act like a robot.

Trust me, this movie's not even good no matter how many of whatever substances you imbibe. It's too awful to even make fun of. It's just plain awful. Unless you are absolutely obsessed with Dorothy Stratton or you have some weird need to collect every bad science fiction movie ever made, avoid this like the plague.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad Bad Movie, Not Good Bad
I love Dorothy Stratten. She was the first Playmate I ever saw and she was the most incredible vision I'd ever seen. I love Science Fiction. I grew up with it and I've read and seen just about everything ever released. I love good bad movies. The first time I saw Deathrace 2000, I couldn't stop laughing. Toxie is a personal hero of mine. I live for Friday night to watch good bad movies and munch on popcorn.

I only mention all of the above to preface my review because they're important. I'm exactly the intended target audience for this movie.

It's bad. Really bad. Bad bad. Using terms like "witty" and "humorous" are completely out of place with this movie. I had a friend in grade school who made witty movies. This isn't even close.

My first impression was incredibly poor. The A G O N I Z I N G L Y slow pan along the length of the spaceship while music that sounded like it was lifted from a Bugs Bunny cartoon in a more serious moment seemed like it would never end. And then it went downhill.

There is no sense of sequence to the story. It's a hodge-podge of scenes that seem to have been written by someone determined to see how bad a movie could be and still be funded and released by a theater. Well, now we know.

The acting is beyond cardboard, the supposed "parody" simply a matter of trying to reference other movies everyone would know without realizing you need to do something clever with it to be funny, and throughout all of this is the maddening Bugs Bunny classical soundtrack.

Don't waste your time... even if you think it would be worth trying to see how bad it is. That's why I saw it. I've seen thousands of movies, and this is my first movie review. That should tell you how bad this movie must be.

4-0 out of 5 stars OOOO WAH!!
Galaxina is one of those movies that you either like, or hate. No in between. It has a lot of adult humor, and adult language, and is a bit off kilter!
As to this DVD version: I like it a lot better than the tape. Much crisper, clearer picture and audio. I wish there were more added features, but with the star's demise, I guess a lot was lost.

3-0 out of 5 stars A bit cheesy
Well we have here a sorts of galactic adventures started in the final and first 80's.

Galaxina(Dorothy R Stratten) is a female robot which leds in the Eternity Police starship.

The crew including a cowboy a shaggy beared captain,a black vampire(or cousin of Mr Spock the vulcanian) and a japanese old man.

They get a mission got to a remote planet to get the Blue Star(ahhh!) from a alien robot which lives in a west town style full of aliens.

Of course they sent Galaxina to get the treasure.

After she is captured by a band of Harley Davidson believers they rescued her and returns to the ship.

The dialogue is a bit cheesy the humour and jokes are very obvius and the intents of Galaxina of talk are evident.

The presence of playmate DRS at least worth the money.

The sound is clear and audible, but the image clarity is poor,it seems that the transfer was done from an old vhs tape.

They should make a better image quality. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars "Sounds like a bad action movie."
The plot for this movie is actually quite good, a microbiochemical weapon accidently created and released on the world is captured and is being brought back from Russia, but the Russians are trying to recapture it and release it on the major cities of the world and it is up to our "hero" to stop them before it happens. What ruins this great movie is the very bad acting. When asked if he knew about Agent Red, Dolph's character said it best, "Sounds like a bad action movie," and it is. From LT. Christian being seriously out of uniform to the underlying "love story", this movie just reeks. The only good thing I saw in this movie was Randolph Mantooth. His small part made up for the movie in my opinion. So unless you're a big Mantooth fan, this movie is a waste of money.

1-0 out of 5 stars You've got to be kidding -- AVOID THIS MOVIE!
This movie was so bad (How Bad Was It?) that I turned it off after about 25 minutes. This is only the second time in my life I stopped watching a movie because it was so poorly done. DO NOT RENT OR BUY THIS MOVIE!

2-0 out of 5 stars I can't get anyone to watch this with me.
I bought this movie previously viewed for 2 bucks, if that tells you about the quality. It looks and sounds like it will be the worst movie I own, and after I read the other reviews, I am looking forward to watching it...If I can get myself inebriated enough. So far after 5 weekends, my friends and I haven't been able to get up the courage to watch this past the previews yet.
If we do this weekend finally, and it is actually good(???) then I will come back on here and post a RAVE REVIEW. If not, this review will stand.
Best Movie of the Day (when I didn't watch any other movies)

1-0 out of 5 stars Agent Dread!
This movie is so bad, it barely deserves mention. However, I am a big DL fan, and I am writing this in the hope that Dolph will not abandon his fans---he may be making movies like this just for the $$, but, I believe, he is also doing irreparable damage to his career.

1-0 out of 5 stars Just when you think Dolph can't get sink any lower..........
I will be honest I like Dolph Lundgren.........a look at his filmography you see B.movie classics such as "The Punisher",Universal Soldier" and "Blackjack" Dolph has been going trough a slump.........Storm Catcher and the startlingly routine Jill The Ripper and the awful Minion(AKA Fallen Knight) but with Agent Red Dolph Lundgren hits rock bottom. Agent Red first of all steals it's music from Predator 2......and it's plot from Counter Measures,Oh I'm not finished yet. It steals footage from Storm Catcher!!!!!!!!! The scene where Jon Penner steals the air craft while posing as Dolph Lundgren..........Now Penner is 5'11 Dolph Lundgren is 6'5 for goodness sake! yet they try to pass it off as Dolph Lundgren as the soldier stealing the aircraft for part of a mission.....This scene made me wanna throw up but I hung in there.....It turns out more footage is stolen.......I swear I saw footage from Iron Eagle and Iron Eagle II.......I saw footage from Crimson Tide and I saw footage from Counter Measures........What the heck was Dolph thinking when he signed for this junk? I have no idea. When I was a teen (When Showdown In Little Tokyo came out) I thought Dolph Lundgren couldn't sink lower then Showdown In Little Tokyo,Then when I saw The Minion I was almost sure Dolph couldn't do worse........Well I pray he can't do any worse because Agent Red is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life..........This is coming from a guy who likes Don The Dragon Wilson. The romance that opens Touch Me is clumsy and stiff, but when the plot takes a crucial turn, the movie becomes a surprisingly affecting portrait of coping with illness. Brigitte (Amanda Peet) is an aspiring actress who's just begun seeing Adam (Michael Vartan), the owner of the health club where she teaches yoga. Suddenly her world is turned upside down by the news that an old boyfriend is dying of AIDS--and she soon learns that she herself is HIV positive. She sinks into depression and denial and rejects her relationship with Adam, despite his sincere attempts to move forward with their relationship. Touch Me isn't the most crisply written movie in the world, but its depiction of life with the HIV virus has some genuine grit to it and can be quite moving. 4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Story
I love Michael Vartan, and thats the only reason why I thought of even seeing this movie. But I was suprised, it was a good performance on the part of the actors and I enjoyed it more after I saw that Peter Facinelli is in too, its pretty good!!

4-0 out of 5 stars More Than I Expected....
When I read the outline of this movie I frankly thought it would be depressing and only decided to watch because of the two stars. However, once the plotline got going it became a truly gripping story that had me glued to my seat waiting for the "happy ending" that seemed impossible half way through. For those hopelessly romantics out there - this is the movie for you! (Michael Vartan isn't to bad on the eyes either!) Enjoy!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Must See Buried Treasure Romance
I think many viewers have avoided this film because they know HIV is in the plotline. We are used to movies about HIV and AIDS being movies about death and dying. However, this movie deals with HIV present day where one can be leading a life and be kept in fairly good health with the right medical care. The issues this person faces are entirely different from those faced back when HIV and AIDS hit the planet decades ago. Chief among those issues is whether one can have a love life, a romance, a career or children if one has been infected with HIV. This movie grapples with all these issues in a romance between the characters played by the wonderfully charismatic duo of Amanda Peet and Michael Vartan. This film is NOT a downer in any sense of the word. It remains utterly faithful to the romance genre and you will love it every step of the way if you love the genre. Women will adore Vartan as a leading man and men will adore Peet as the leading lady. You can't lose.

5-0 out of 5 stars Micheal Vartan an exceptional actor!
What a great movie... love, romance, committment and unselfishness. Micheal you were just beautiful in everyway! Great story line and inspirational love story!

5-0 out of 5 stars A poignant, original movie
Iron Home Entertainment's VHS video Touch Me is a poignant, original movie of a Los Angeles woman whose life is turned upside down when she learns her former lover is dying of AIDS. 5-0 out of 5 stars C. Rothrock and S. Dever synergy
A thrill-a-minute, non-stop action adventure with a kick, Outside the Law delivers exactly what it propounds to -- a great action movie with solid acting. Director Jorge Montesi is on top with this one, leading a first-rate cast. Cynthia Rothrock delivers some intense martial action, while Seamus Dever and Jeff Wincott add heavy weight to an outstanding performance. Particularly interesting is the chemistry between Rothrock and Dever. A must see.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's not that bad......
I feel sorry for everyone slammin' on this movie. It wasn't that bad.

1-0 out of 5 stars This movie has it all
This movie has it all.

Bad acting, silly and implausible plot. I mean, Come on!. The good guys go after the drug-lord types and steal "the secret laptop". The drug lords learn who's attacking them. The good guys hang out the entire time in a restaurant they own and the bad guys never bother to go after them.

The female lead apparently got her two expressions (pissed and majorly pissed) from Clint Eastwood. Dan Lauria (the bad cop) was amusing in a sad sort of way and Stephen Macht (who should have quit acting when he finished "Galaxina") played an evil government type who was after the female lead for some reason or another.

At least it was better than "In the Bedroom"

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible!
This movie does not worth be seen, for starter the guy who first get killed is a F.B.I. agent that is not even wearing a bulletproof jacket on an operation. The end is worst that the beginning. The performance of the actors is awful. The title should go "Xena meets Dirty Harry" Bottom line: Don't waste your time on this movie you'd rather watch the news. ... Read more

I have bought the C&L DVD 1st season dvd set from the UK and it was very difficult and bothersome to try and find a way to watch it because of the regional differences.I loved the show growing up and would very much be interested in purchasing the show on DVD when it will become available. Please hurry and allow the many fans of the incredibly talented cast to see some of their favorite characters as we can only remember them.Thank you. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wolfmans Got Nards & I Can't Wait For The DVD To Be Released
This is a great scary movie for kids and adults alike...
This little-known GEM of a film & one of my favorites with mostly a cast of unknowns. Stephen Macht (Graveyard Shift& many other stephen King films) & Jason Hervey (older brother, Wayne on Wonder Years) are familiar faces. A great kids frightfest that has the Creature From The Black Lagoon, Mummy, Wolfman, Frankenstein & a really hot & sexy Dracula with his female coven!

A passel of oddball kids fight the dark forces of evil in their small neighborhood with the help of Frankenstein & Scary German Guy (an old Germanic man that is a neighbor). Great plot, cool special effects, some excellent one liners & some wonderful child acting all make for a terrifc family frightfest! Check out the teacher in the beginning of the movie. The kids call her "Meow Mix" because her head is shaped like a cat's head! Great oddball writing in this movie makes it scary & funny!

Wonderful story! I just can't wait for this to come out on DVD!

5-0 out of 5 stars The movie i have loved since i was a kid!
Monster Squad has so many good things about it its hard to find things wrong with it. It brings many life lessons with it. Here are the ten lessons i learned:
1.German people are scary, especially the "scary german guy".
2.Wolfman has "nards".
3.The kid who smokes and wears a leather jacket is the coolest guy in the town.
4.Don't mess with the fat kid.
5.The Creature from the Black Lagoon is no match for a twelve gauge.
6.Make a clubhouse next to a house where a hot chick lives so you can spy on her when she undresses.
7.The mummy in your closet isn't real and even if he is your dad will never see him any ways.
8.The army is always late.
9.Free movies await the person who lives close enough to a drive in.
10.monster squad is a classic.
Well I think I've said enough, so buy it already and have fun laughin at crude 80's sayings and ridiculus fat jokes.

5-0 out of 5 stars Monsteriffic!!!
Classic Monsters, Gang of Middle Schoolers fighting Evil, Great SPFX, One of my most favorite movies ever. Reminds me somewhat of the Goonies, (1 fat kid , 1 obsessive cumplusive kid, 1 young adult, and the rest is history)

5-0 out of 5 stars wolfman gots nards!!!
this is the best movie ever. its funny the movie is older then me but its my favorite movie.

but its abut these group of kids who have to stop dracula from taking ova the world.

but it has all the monster classics. so if you like drac and the other creaures of the night, watch it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Mummy Came In My House.
This is one of the best 80's movies ever. cleverly developed. The dialog in this film is also fantastic. "wolfmans got nards."
A must have movie. You'll love evey rsecond of it. ...

Bottomline:On Agent Red's cover it says "Once exposed you cannot survive" Take this as a warning. ... Read more
