In the weeks after The Blair Witch Project transformed from cult independent horror movie legend to Cinderella-story blockbuster, it seemed that everyone and his brother had their own copycat in the works. The Erotic Witch Project wins the dubious honor as the first finished parody out of the woods and onto home video. This silly soft-core spoof follows the adventures of three college girls who take a couple of video cameras into the woods to find the legendary erotic witch. After finding sex toys and anatomically correct stick figures mysteriously left outside their tents, their clothes are stolen (along with the map) and they wander naked through the woods, haunted by spooky sounds but too busy making out to worry about it. "I'm so horny, and I'm so scared at the same time," confesses one girl in a parody of Heather's famous direct confession in the original. Just for fun there's also a completely unexplained guy in a bad gorilla suit running around with a blow-up doll who picks up the camera when the girls are too busy getting it on to tape themselves. More ludicrous than funny, it's less a movie than high-concept (though low-budget) video centerfold, but once in a while the gags hit and for a few brief moments the parody actually works. --Sean Axmaker ... 3-0 out of 5 stars A mediocre film featuring both Darian Caine and Katie Keane
Girl Explores Girl: The Alien Encounter is your typically silly, plot-deprived John Bacchus-produced Seduction Cinema film. The population of an alien planet has lost the means to reproduce, so they send two emissaries to Earth to see how the humans go about multiplying. The two aliens soon ditch their alien bodies (and ridiculous lettuce-like heads), with Zorkon taking the form of a total geek (John Bacchus) and Galaxia adopting the body of a hot little blonde number (Katie Keane). Zorkon is more than ready to begin trying to save their planet, but Galaxia feels nothing with Zorkon and goes out to do some exploring of her own. She finds an overly made up buxom blonde (Natalia Ashe), does some intense work with her, and returns to disappoint Zorkon with her choice of sexual preference. Poor Zorkon has to rely on call girls to entertain him, with Darian Caine and Victoria Vega being just what the alien doctor might have ordered.

Girl Explores Girl does have the distinction of featuring the girls of The Erotic Witch Project, including Katie Keane, the blonde who garnered many fans from her earlier performance but soon stopped working with Surrender Cinema. Keane has a couple of memorable steamy scenes here that should delight her fans. I much prefer the dark and mysterious Darian Caine, who features in three scenes in Girl Explores Girl. After a nice round of exotic dancing, however, her scenes with Victoria Vega are a little on the tame side. Darian still brings plenty of sizzle to the screen, however, and fans of both Caine and Keane would do well to add this film to their collections.

The Collector's Edition of this movie includes a bonus documentary called Loving the Alien, interviews with Keane and Ashe, a photo gallery featuring the women of Girl Explores Girl, and trailers for a sampling of other Surrender Cinema productions.

3-0 out of 5 stars Lots of sex....very little else.
I spotted this DVD and thought I would give it a watch, however, thre is pretty much no plot or actual story in this 'movie'. So Its pretty much like a drawn out porno flick. The actual sex scenes in this movie are pretty decent, and there are lots of them. Which is why I gave it 3 stars. So if you're into lesbianism, then this would be up your alley.
Just understand that if you buy it, its just for the sex, and pretty much nothing else.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good softcore, girl/girl video.
Girl Explores Girl is really just a pornographic girl/girl video that has been toned down just enough so that most mainstream retailers will carry it. The "plot" is threadbare and just ties the numerous sex scenes together.

It does what it sets out to do pretty well. The women are attractive and naked. Three of the sex scenes were very good, the others were just okay.

It's not going to make any top ten lists, but it is still worth a look.

2-0 out of 5 stars Okay foray into softcore-land.
Coming on the heels of the infamous Erotic Witch Project, Girl Explores Girl features the 3 girls from that film, along with fetish-porn-model Natalia Ashe.

Storyline: One shouldn't go into a Seduction Cinema movie for the storyline, usually, but in this movie the storyline is so bad that it actually does affect the movie as a whole. 2 aliens come to earth; one becomes an incredibly dorky guy, and the other a hot girl, and sex ensues. That's pretty much it. Little in the movie makes much sense, and the non-sex scenes are downright annoying, so it's best to just skip to the good stuff rather than sitting down with a tub o' popcorn. This is in sharp contrast to Erotic Witch, which is a semi-funny parody that's worth watching all the way through, as well as containing some good girl/girl(/girl) scenes.

The girls: Okay, as everyone else has said, Katie Kean- a svelte blonde- is hot. I'm partial to Darian Caine, myself- she's a buxom dark-haired goth-like girl, and Victoria Vega- a brunette- is pretty nice to look at. Unfortunately, Natalia Ashe is horrific looking- her one redeeming virtue is her prehensile tongue. She's overly tanned, overly made-up, and her hair's fried from too much peroxide.

The sex scenes: except for the first scene in the film, all of the couplings are girl/girl. Darian with Victoria, and Katie with Natalia. Unfortunately, there is no menage a trois or four-way in the movie, nor do the couples switch. IMO the movie would have been better if there had been interaction between all four girls rather than keeping them as two separate couples. At least it would have been nice to pair Katie with Darian and/or Victoria.

The Darian/Victoria scenes are a bit dull. While the actresses are fun to watch, there's no passion (Darian chews gum throughout the whole thing, which is kind of funny); there's little/no kissing, just some half-hearted tongue-play. The shower scene is okay, and the food scenes are probably the hottest between the two.

The Katie/Natalia scenes are, surprisingly, much more erotic. There's a definite chemistry between the two, and there's a bit more playing around overall- the scenes actually get quite explicit, which is a nice departure for a softcore film. Still not enough kissing for my taste, but hey... can't win 'em all.

DVD extras: Pretty nice- the menus are self-explanatory, and the making-of documentary is fun to watch. The interview with Katie is okay, while the one with Natalia just furthered my distaste for her. I'd like to have seen the DVD be dual-layer, so the extras could be accessed easier on single-sided DVD players.

Overall: a decent effort, but not as good as the Erotic Witch Project. Probably still worth the purchase by fans of softcore girl/girl movies, but if it's a toss-up I'd go with EWP first.

2-0 out of 5 stars no budget, no script, no acting.
The movie begins with special effects straight off someone's 15 year old mac as the alien craft heads toward earth. The two aliens in the story beam down to a backyard wearing rubber hands and masks they got at the five and dime. The first sex scene is a Barbie and Ken type that lacks any kind of heat whatsoever(it looks like they threw this in from something else they were working on). The rest of the movie takes place in a bedroom or by a backyard pool. There are two sets of girl/girl couplings; two brunettes and two blondes. The two brunettes seem to be just going through the motions and are not really interesting. However, the two blondes seem to have an on screen chemistry that works,(as long as they're not talking). Their scenes are really hot and very explicit. The ending: very lame. As far as eroctic sci-fi, fantasy, or horror go, there is better and worse to be found. There are a couple of scenes that are good, but most of this one is junk. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Gladiator Eroticvs (2001) d: Bacchus, John
Erotic spoof of the Ridley Scott blockbuster from EI / Seduction Cinema. Darian Caine stars as a lesbian warrior who is taken prisoner, enslaved and later becomes the most feared and least clothed female gladiator performing in the Roman games. The video contains slapstick comedy similar to Howard Ziehm's late night cult movie Flesh Gordon (1974), Bob Clark's Porky's (1982) or Fred Olen Ray's Bad Girls From Mars (1990). It looks like the crew had a lot of fun during filming, unfortunately the humor too often gets in the way of the erotic action. ... . The all girl action makes it impossible to watch with the wife, and the high-school locker room comedy scenes keep it far from being a ... film, but the hot, ... naked women complete the visit. A strange movie that mixes off beat comedy, and erotic lesbian desires.

5-0 out of 5 stars Eroticus Hilarious
The most hilarious rendition of the instant classic. You will laugh from beginning to end, especially if you watched the original. The make-out scenes aren't bad either. Cleverly done. Highly recommended!

2-0 out of 5 stars The only good thing about this movie is Misty Mundae
Maybe I've seen too many of these John Bacchus movies from Seduction Cinema. I know how exceedingly silly and juvenile these films can be, so the completely farcical nature of Gladiator Eroticus was certainly not a shock to my system. I also know what kind of activities go on in these movies, and I just didn't find this one very erotic at all. This is disappointing given the fact that my three favorite Seduction Cinema starlets, Misty Mundae, Darian Cane, and Katie Jordan, are all featured herein. The story is simple, ludicrous, and relatively unimportant. Darian Cane plays Eroticus, the leading general of Rome, one who achieves victory on the battlefield in her own special way, one that does not involve armor or weapons or even clothes. The emperor wants her to be the next leader of the Roman people, but the emperor's idiotic son assumes the throne after he sort of kills his father. He orders the death of Eroticus, but she defeats her would-be killers (who are, fortunately for her, female), and escapes only to be captured and taught the ways of lesbian gladiator fighting. In this way she works her way back toward Rome with the goal of exacting revenge on the emperor.

Misty Mundae saves this movie from complete failure. She plays the sister of the new emperor, and he keeps her close to his side for the first two-thirds of the film. Once she finally has a chance to engage in the gladiator-like activities taking Rome by storm, the movie becomes much better. This is actually a rather large-scale project for the Seduction Cinema folks; all this really means is that there are more actors than usual included in the cast and that the whole Roman army, instead of numbering a handful of soldiers, seems to consist of about twenty people. This is unquestionably a bare-bones sort of production. Almost all of the action takes place out in the open, and computer-generated Roman-looking buildings are supposed to make us envision Rome itself as the setting. The plot itself pretty much stinks, coming pretty close to giving Mistress Frankenstein a run for its money in terms of its rottenness. Bacchus got some of his jollies with the idea of a "vomitorium" this time around, and this does not help his cause. One thing about this film particularly galls me, though. The voices of Darian Caine and Jade DuBoir are dubbed over with some he-man-sounding female voices which sound utterly ridiculous. I really can't recommend this film to anyone besides Misty Mundae fans; she is much too good for a movie this ridiculous.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Film
As other reviewers have pointed out, this movie is an erotic spoof of Gladiator.

This is a VERY low-budget movie. It's like a group of friends got together to have some fun acting the plot out. I wasn't expecting anything here. I was assuming it would be something mindless. It turned out not to be totally mindless.

The humor is extremely silly - beyond what you might in Airplane! or Naked Gun. There are a few good moments which I don't think I should state in a place which can be viewed by all ages. I'm tempted to make comparisons with the director Ed Wood, but that could be a little misleading since he never did porn. There is plenty of overacting and bad dialogue. ...but it's fun.

Even with the bad jokes, there is a plot here. The weapons are plastic toys. The main female gladiator fights don't really involve weapons. Two women approach each other and then they quickly touch each other in a sexual manner or move their tongues rapidly. Most of the fights are orgies - all girls. No men involved. There are a few traditional gladiator type fights, but they're just there to move the story along. I could have done without the vomit scene.

For me, the movie was enjoyable, but not a classic. I simply viewed it as a Gladiator spoof with some sex added in. I liked it because I studied Latin and Roman culture in college, and it was neat to see this type of a production on that subject. ...even if it may not be 100% (or even 40%) historically accurate.

There is a nice interview with Misty Mundae included. ...a normal interview. Just comments about her daily routine and a few things about the production.

1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't even deserve a rating!! These guys suck!!
I bought one of the other flicks they made at one time. It was so bad i took it back to the store. I said it was dammaged to get a store credit and got something else. The production , acting, script and look of that film was so bad it made Jess Franco's Ilsa The Wicked Warden look like The Titanic. What really made me angry was that the flicks these guy make only shows the women topless and thats it! No real sex or anything! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. Buy a vivid movie, at least they deliver the goods!!! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Fire bad, and so is this movie
Mistress Frankenstein was a major disappointment. It's all well and good to intentionally make a spoof film as bad as possible, but this movie is just absurdly, ridiculously bad. Darian Caine plays Baroness Helena Frankenstein, a cold-hearted, cold-blooded, sexually repressed prude. Her husband Dr. Frankenstein still loves her despite her lack of warmth (and other things), and he naturally tries to bring her back to life when she is accidentally killed. Unfortunately, her brain was damaged in the accident. The doctor orders his servant Igor to fix it, but Igor ends up losing it and secretly replacing it with a brain he bought at the body parts store dirt cheap. When Mistress Frankenstein reawakens, she is a sex-crazed lesbian and starts seducing everyone woman she meets.

This movie is just really, really bad. The acting is over the top and back again, there's some kind of laugh track inserted for the servant Igor (seemingly a silly, twisted version of Paul Lynde), all of the incredibly annoying townspeople are named Karl, the horse in the movie is two guys in a costume, the wretched gorilla Kimbo puts in a cameo, Darian is forced to walk and talk like the original Frankenstein's monster, and-with the exception of Miss Caine and Heidi Christine-the featured actresses are hardly worth looking at. I actually considered fast forwarding through some of the scenes. Unfortunately, I could go on and on listing the dumb things that make this movie almost painful to suffer through. Unless you're a huge Darian Caine fan, there's really no reason in the world for you to watch this movie.

3-0 out of 5 stars SENSELESS but the sex is great.
I'm not even goin' to lie to you. MISTRESS FRANKENSTEIN is the most senseless film I've have ever seen! ALthough, I would say, that it is far better than a MAX after dark special, the MAX after dark films at least have a storyline and a plot. The lesbianic scenes are fantastic. The first, second, and fourth are my favorites. But that's just me. If you decide to buy this film, buy it for the sex not for to sit through and watch because that would be torture!

1-0 out of 5 stars Complete waste of money
The girls in this movie (with the possible exception of the star) are not attractive in the least, and that's putting it nicely. I couldn't even stomach the sex scenes. To think that for the price of this DVD I could have paid for a month of Cinemax, or ordered 3 or 4 pay-per-view movies. The average pay-per-view soft-core is far better quality. I thought about giving it two stars because some parts were funny, but they weren't that funny. Save your money and get one of the Eros series from Playboy, such as Web of Seduction.

4-0 out of 5 stars MISTRESS FRANKENSTEIN
MISTRESS FRANKENSTEIN works as both an erotic adult film and as a parody of the classic horror movie "Frankenstein." The wife of Dr. Frankenstein is killed in a "horse riding accident," and so he decides to bring her back to life by using another woman's brain to replace that of his deceased wife's...but the new brain once belonged to a lesbain nymphomaniac and now it has transformed Dr. Frankenstein's wife into a lusty, woman loving sex machine. Darian Cane is as hot and sexy as ever in the role of Dr. Frankenstein's wife and the girl-on-girl scenes in this film are extremely steamy. This is a future low-budget adult film classic in the making.

4-0 out of 5 stars It's "Frankenhooker" For The New Millennium!
I showed this movie at a party and everybody loved it! Thanks to the twisted sense of humor of John Bacchus and the incredible performace of actress Darian Caine, this film goes way beyond your average "T&A" fare. It's funny, sexy, and full of all the stuff you want to see. "Frankenhooker" is one of my all-time favorite films, and this really reminded me of it. Side 2 of the DVD contains a lot of outtakes and "making of" footage, making it well worth the low asking price. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An absolute must for Darian Caine fans
If you are as big a fan of Darian Caine as I am, this is the movie you have to own. Former Penthouse Pet (hey, I read it on the movie summary) Tammy Parks may get top billing, but The Erotic Ghost is all about the incredible Miss Caine, who delivers her hottest performance ever. With the help of Jade Duboir, a blindfold, and a, um, let's call it a foreign object, Darian absolutely sizzles. As if this isn't enough (and it is), there's even a decent story built around the sex scenes. Darian plays Doris, a bored, frustrated (in more ways than one) housewife with a whining loser of a husband named Robert. All of a sudden, she begins seeing a ghost (Tammy Parks), who does indeed turn out to be of the erotic variety. Throw in a couple of female devils, and Doris' dreary days are a thing of the past. As an added bonus, although it might not seem so at first as it takes away from Darian's screen time, we get a close look at Doris' husband's job. While we get some typical John Bacchus screwball characters in the form of a mailboy wearing a perpetual face mask, a baseball fanatic sporting greasepaint under his eyes and a baseball bat in his hands at all times, and Kimbo the syphilitic stricken balloon sales gorilla, the comically dysfunctional nature of the office experience actually resonates in a really weird yet pretty comical way. Robert is cursed with a sneaky, unethical co-worker determined to steal his job and make fun of him while doing so, and we watch his mental decline (it's not a long trip) progress to a point where he decides to take matters into his own hands. His punishment is most unusual, and his bad day goes from bad to worse when he arrives home. This secondary story actually makes some sense and provides a funny take on office life.

The Erotic Ghost is one of Seduction Cinema's best overall films, featuring wacky but somehow meaningful comedy alongside the amazingly hot performance of Darian Caine. The behind-the-scenes feature included on the DVD is also well worth watching; it's even funnier than the movie and almost as sexy. The work (and hilarious bloopers) that went into producing the movie's sexiest of scenes is highly entertaining and informative. Cast and crew always have a great time making one of these Bacchus movies, and it shows in the finished product. You also get interviews with Darian Caine and Tammy Parks, as well as a number of trailers for other Seduction Cinema productions. At its core, The Erotic Ghost is just another silly, low-budget erotic movie with no redemptive value whatsoever, but it sure is a lot of fun to watch.

2-0 out of 5 stars Strange, but weak
What a strange film. Not deep and strange, just strange. Something about a guy stuck in a hellish nightmare of a life, possible literally hell and his wife who is visited by an assortment of lusty over sexed ghosts, vampires and succubus. Most of the film was girl on girl soft porn. None of which left me or my girlfriend very steamed up. The best part I found were the extra's on the DVD. It was neat seeing people involved having fun.

1-0 out of 5 stars STUPID
This is by far the stupidest movie of all times. If you want to see nudity, it has it, but other than that I watched 20 minutes then threw it in the trash! Stupid is the only work to describe it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Very erotic at times... kind of [bad] at others
Darrien Caine is a hottie! Of that there can be no doubt! In this video she's being haunted by some very lust-filled female demons, who consistently have their evil way with her --- which is also the best part of this tape! They also include a sub-plot of her husband --- but it's basically what the fast-forward-search button on your VCR is for. As for Darrien being molested by female demons, my favorite scene was when Jade Duboir takes her from behind with a strap-on! Very nice! Tammy Parks also mixes it up fairly well with Darrien. But that's about it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Erotic Ghost, The... (2001) d: Bacchus, John
If you love soft-core.., you'll love Suduction Cinema's Erotic Ghost. Doris, (played by Darian Caine) an unfulfilled housewife bored by the mundanity of her daily life, has an... encounter with a... vampire / ghost (Tammy Parks) while her husband (Zachary 'Blood Bullets Buffons' Snygg) is at work having his own strange day.... "...Is Doris hallucinating or going crazy, or are these devilishly sensual and kinky lesbian encounters really happening?" 4-0 out of 5 stars About a lesbian vampire who doesn't DO anything!!!
The only girl-girl action in this film involves NON-vampires! The lesbian vampire herself just TALKS about finding other women! Mostly this film follows the idiotic descendant of Van Helsing (the vampire slayer), who serves his mistress by seeking out lesbians for her unnatural lusts. Yes, he finds a few, and the scenes are pretty steamy, but he NEVER brings any back for his mistress! As for the girl-girl scenes, they're pretty tame for the most part. A later seduction scene between a female doctor and her attractive patient is ruined by the arrival of the "pizza boy" --- how cliched' can you get? Still, a good effort!

3-0 out of 5 stars A fun way to kill an hour & a half!
"Wally, go get me my lesbians! Where are my lesbians? Lesbians, lesbians." And so goes the plot for The Vampire's Seduction, another in the seemingly endless - and ever-growing - supply of lesbian vampire flicks.

The plot of this movie is something about a vampire - played for laughs by a really cute Tina Krause, who shows a flair for comedy - named Dracoola, who needs lesbians (and don't they all) and a nerdy loser who she recruits to find some for her. But - and who could have seen this plot twist - he's a Van Helsing! Yes, from the famous vampire-killer lineage. If you can get through the over-long sex scenes (I never thought I'd be saying THAT), this movie is actually pretty funny. The Van Helsing character - played very well by John Paul Fedele and is a kind of cross between Woody Allen and Jerry Lewis' Nutty Professor - has some very funny lines. The script might have been written that way, but he delivers his lines so smoothly that they appear to be ad libbed. I really think this guy shows some talent - but who the hell am I! Also, Zack Snygg (Blood, Bullets and Buffoons) and Debbie Rochon (not enough room to list everything) are very good in their limited screen time.

In addition to the comedic elements and the sex (that ever-elusive lesbian vampire sex), there are some unintentionally funny moments also. A young woman goes to a psychotherapist because she is having problems with her boyfriend. She tells the doctor (played by Paige Turner - another great name) that she doesn't feel pretty anymore. Well, there's good reason for that - she's not. But she and the good doctor proceed to "do it" in her office (I've never seen so many women who don't wear underwear) until the pizza boy comes. Then it's something straight out of an old xxx movie - the doctor asks him if he wants cash for the pizza or could she offer him "one of these!" I think you get the picture. The two women and the pizza boy then experience prolonged periods of "getting' it on."

Another scene that I found humorous - but I don't know if anyone else will - is a scene in which a supposed-teenage girl is having a friend sleep over at her house. They are talking about boys and the girl's mother enters the room. First of all, the "mother" looks younger than both of the "girls." Then, after setting up the fact that these girls are supposed to be about 14 or 15 years old and virginal, the "mother" proceeds to tell them that boys can be bad and they should kiss each other to see what it's like. The "mother" eventually joins in and when one of the "girls" slips out of her nightie, she has pierced nipples and tattoos. The other "girl" also has tattoos, as well as the "mot her." I don't know, but I found that humorous - maybe it's just me. At the end, the Van Helsing character rids the world of Dracoola in a way that only a movie of this caliber could get away with. Sure, there are certain aspects that scream "crap" - such as the fact that you know Tina's scenes were shot in one day on her lunch break from her real job and edited in later - but it doesn't make any difference. Taken at face value, The Vampire's Seduction is a fun way to kill an hour and a half (including the out-takes after the movie).

1-0 out of 5 stars ... Seduction
I'm an .... I was sucked in by the title. I love vampire-sex films. This film has very little vampirism but lots of poor quality & plotless sex.

I had already decided, after seeing other John Bacchus lemons, not to buy any more of his films. I didn't know that this one was from his stable.

They are so formulaic. Excepting as mentioned earlier, this has so little vampirism. It involves primarily a rather ugly and seemingly retarded man spying on a lot of other people having sex.

This man just walks into some girls apartment and without her noticing, stands in the bathroom door as she soaps herself.

He is bitten once on the arm (that's the extent of the vampirism), and then goes and watches more people. There's the typical John Bacchus feature; a woman in bath/shower soaping herself.

Thus the sex scenes aren't really connected to anything. Tina Krause stands outside in the dark waiting for him to report back. She dances around topless a bit, but has very little else to do in this film other then to die pointlessly at the end, having had a few scenes dancing, and being very bored.

Even the DVD bonus material (on the flip-side of the disc) is also meaningless as we see Misty Mundae in a long sequence not used in the film "An Erotic Vampire in Paris" which again features a bath scene. She bathes, as the she-Vampire comes in. The she-Vampire spends a long time brushing her hair before getting in the bath too. There's a little bit of breast-fondling, but no vampirism. More shots from some other film are used including a woman standing in front of a window and rubbing herself. There was no point to this either.

If you enjoy John Bacchus films you are the most easy to please person on the planet. He enjoys showing women (with inflated breasts) doing lots of dancing and prancing about, and very mild sex scenes, varied only by someone pretending to be a vampire or a demon. And of course, there's got to be a scene showing someone washing herself. It's like a moving version of a ... spread (big boobs, high-heels, big hair).

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth reviewing and certainly not worth watching
John Bacchus' early films are simply dreadful, none more so than Vampire's Seduction. Tina Krause plays Dracoola, daughter of the vanquished Count Dracula. She recruits Wally, the last of the Van Helsings and an utterly disgusting imbecile, to bring her the lesbians she craves. Wally sneaks into a house and watches an unattractive woman shower and then rub lotion on herself. Next, he spies on a sleepover wherein some girl's mother tells a couple of supposedly virginal young girls to forget about boys and then shows them how they can entertain themselves. Finally, we have a psychiatrist whose unusual method of treatment for a woman who considers herself unattractive (for good reason) is interrupted by a pizza delivery boy. That's pretty much it, except for the stupid ending with Dracoola and Wally. Debbie Rochon plays a waitress but her talents are completely wasted here. The movie is painfully stupid, incredibly boring, and amateurish in the extreme.

1-0 out of 5 stars This one really bites!
"Vampire's Seduction" is a major disappointment from the Seduction Cinema people.... Another major problem is the lack of quality production values: this film is so poorly lit and filmed that it does the seemingly impossible by making lovelies like Tina Krause and Debbie Rochon look bad.... Hard to believe it comes from the same folks who did "Girl Explores Girl" and "Mistress Frankenstein." Skip this one! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Vote it off the island!
I agree with the other reviewer...this was very lame. It tried to be funny and sexy and failed miserably on both points. Bad acting and not enough action (to make it worse, the "action" that was there was not very entertaining). I'd give it 0 stars if I could. This one definitely needs to be voted off the island and erased from memory. It was not worth the money.

4-0 out of 5 stars A dead-on sexy spoof of TV's Survivor
Erotic Survivor is a pretty funny spoof of the reality show Survivor, poking great fun in particular at the whole alliance and trust aspect of the game. We see a lot of individual segments with each character, which makes the Survivor gambit play even better. We start out with 8 contestants, all of whom are stranded out in the woods a good hundred feet from civilization, and director John Bacchus stands in as the Jeff Probst-like host. The contestants are in for 3 days of roughing it, while competitions are held each day to determine what tribe loses out. On one side we have the Hey-Hu-Nanni tribe with the annoying hypocrite Christian, the weird whiskey-drinking Ward (who actually resembles Burt Ward), the doped-up hippy Bernie, and Mary the professional censor. Across the way, there is the Pu-Nanni tribe consisting of a red-headed Esmerelda Dellarocco, Jade Duboir, the enticing Misty Mundae, and the typically outgoing Darian Caine. The girls' principal weakness is their preoccupation with carnal matters of a decidedly female nature, although this preoccupation also affords them an effective means of keeping their spirits up. The prize all of these men and women are playing for is an incredible sum of twenty dollars (that's not a typo)-that kind of money can buy you a lot of beer, as Darian points out. Competitions consist of a truth-baring relay with something other than a baton, a Spam can-opening contest, and a question and answer round on the subject of sexuality.

The erotic segments of the movie aren't bad, but they're not what I would call sizzling either. Fans of both Darian Caine and Misty Mundae should not work themselves into a frenzy because there is no intense interaction between the two here; I myself found that somewhat disappointing. Actual Survivor moments are put to good use here, including a tapioca search and the discovery of a supposedly hot mud pit. If you watch this movie for the girls only, you might be disappointed to find that there is as much time spent on spoofing Survivor as there is. The erotic action is actually somewhat limited in this Seduction Cinema production, but there is a better than average amount of comedy. My particular favorite moment is Esmerelda stopping to light a cigarette while trying to start a fire by banging rocks together. Featuring a heavy-handed satirical take on Survivor, plenty of laughs, and a decent amount of Seduction Cinema girls being Seduction Cinema girls, this low-budget video is not a bad way to waste and hour and a half.

3-0 out of 5 stars from Fringe Video Fanzine Issue #005
Six strangers are stranded on the sweltering plains of the African Savanna. There, they must play together to survive, while "...feeling each other out, and up..." The sole survivor will walk away with an incredible $20.00. Tune in as the survivors out-kiss, out-lick, and outplay each other. Much like Indican Picture's Survivors Exposed (2000) [reviewed in Fringe Video Issue #004], except along with the naked lesbian action, this parody actually does have some watchable contests which include: A race where pennies are carried in the cleavage of a survivor team-mate; Condoms are filled blindfolded with Jello; A blow up doll race; Multiple choice sexual questions; and dirty scrabble. In between the contests the girls get to know each other better stopping for sex in the woods while searching for food. "...the girls find themselves indulging every untamed urge, erotic alliance, and lustful lesbian desire..." An enjoyable time, however the reality show thing is getting very stale, and unfortunately so is everything that goes along with it.

2-0 out of 5 stars why did they make this movie?
i'm a huge fan of seduction cinema's "erotic parody" movies, and of director john bacchus. the original EROTIC SURVIVOR is an exceptionally well-made goof on the popular television series, full of hilarious jokes (like all of bacchus's movies) and always fun to play when you throw a party. however, i'm having a hard time figuring out why bacchus made EROTIC SURVIVOR 2. it has none of the elements that made the first one good, it feels like no one really wanted to make this movie. even bacchus, who plays the host of EROTIC SURVIVOR 2, appears to be having one miserable time. if i didn't know better, i'd say he was somehow obligated or forced to make this. without the energetic acting and funny dialogue that always separates a john bacchus film from the hordes of other... flicks out there, you're left with an empty viewing experience. the DVD itself is also unusually spare in the extras department in comparison to past seduction cinema releases. all you get is a brief "making of" feature and a couple trailers for films that are already available. the only assumption i can make is that bacchus did EROTIC SURVIVOR 2 for the hell of it, sometime when he was working on PLAYMATE OF THE APES, his most ambitious and highly entertaining effort yet. check that one out, skip ES2.

1-0 out of 5 stars I FEEL TOTALLY CHEATED!!!
I got this movie because they sold it togather with carlitos angels. a funny hispanic comedy about some ghetto girls that fight crime and smoke out. Who the heck thought this piece of junk was a good match with that movie, first of, nobody is spanish, and there is nothing funny about this. there arent even any real vampires in this movie. what are the people at amazon thinking putting these two movies together

2-0 out of 5 stars Vampires bite, vixens don't apparently.
Sexy naked women doing eachother,An alluring quality of the lesbian vampire genre, is certainly not in short supply here. If that's all you wanted though, you would simply order porno in bulk......right? What this genre is all about is lesbian VAMPIRES. Vampire and prey culmunating in a lustful embrace of pain and passion called a "bite". Remember that? Remember when vampires did that?

Vampire Vixens doesn't have any vampires in it. There's a chick in a cape and she can fly. Is she Wonder Woman or what?

I couldn't tell you about the dialogue or the story, although I'm sure there was nothing erotic. One does not catch much of the story or dialogue while scanning in FF mode looking for the vampires.

Why two stars? There are naked women who are at least trying to act like they're having sex. That really only gets 1 1/2 stars, but it wasn't an available option so I rounded up.

3-0 out of 5 stars more of the same, but still fun
This film is the long-awaited sequel to VAMPIRE'S SEDUCTION, one of Seduction Cinema's first releases, and one of my personal favorites. John Bacchus is back in the director's chair, and stars Mia Copia (Dracoola) and John Fedele (Wally) return as well. Added to the cast are the hilarious Zach Snygg, and an all-star SC lineup including Darian Caine, Misty Mundae, AJ Khan, and (the now retired) Katie Jordon. Sounds like a winner, doesn't it? Bacchus is responsible for all my favorite SC films of the past, and I suppose it's unfair of me to expect so much from a movie like this, but I really was disappointed. One indication shoulda been the fact that this movie was made three years ago and it's just now getting released. VAMPIRE VIXENS is basically the same movie as VAMPIRE SEDUCTION in terms of plot, with Dracoola's new flunky Eugene (Snygg) spying on lesbians instead of Wally (who is now the head of a major corporation). There were several funny moments in the film, thanks to Copia, Fedele and Snygg, who are all hilarious of course. But in my view, given what I've seen the participants do in the past, I think VAMPIRE VIXENS under-achieves. Maybe it was the long wait, maybe I expected more from the huge pool of talent involved. The movie is funny, and the skin quotient is high, but don't expect anything bigger or better than the first one. Plus, the extras are really lacking. ... Read more
