4-0 out of 5 stars Great season, transfer and extras still lacking
Law and Order's third season is the beginning of the golden years of the show, six or seven seasons in which this became one of the best crime shows ever.Part of it is the plots, but a larger part is the addition of Jerry Orbach to add both character and humor to a narrowly written role. The show itself is 5 stars, but I knock off a star for yet another season in which the transfers and extras leave something to be desired.Still, very much worth buying.

What makes this season golden?Nostalgia for the early 1990s helps, with big hair, Times Square full of strip clubs, crime labs using old IBM 386 computers, colored shirts and narrow ties, and a general feeling that a far more gritty New York made a better backdrop for a crime show than today's sanitized version.

Some of it is the writing and source material.Episodes include the standard ripped-from-the-headlines stories - Tailhook (Conduct Unbecoming), sweatshop workers (Wedded Bliss), doctors assaulting patients (Helpless, Promises to Keep), drug smuggling rings (Consultation), hackers (Virus) - but one reason the first few seasons are more robust is that they had just started to scratch the surface of historical crimes, like a restaging of the Malcolm X murder (Conspiracy) and a medical device company scandal (The Corporate Veil). This means that while the bang-bang plot advancement really comes into its own this season after a couple of years of slower episodes, the writers don't have to resort to cheap plot tricks to keep things interesting.Routine false leads and judges throwing out evidence every episode can wait for the formulaic later years.I also particularly like several of the non-Hollywood endings, like Prince of Darkness ("What happened to the little girl?" "She was picked up at school by her uncle.""She doesn't have an uncle.")

But a larger part is the acting. With the mid-season addition of Orbach - who plays first-year Briscoe a bit more troubled and edgy than in later years - the Law side of the series finally has two actors that don't think that playing an NYPD detective is beneath their talent.Briscoe's trademark wisecrack helps ("They brought the hookers in?I thought they were on the room service menu"), but there's a chemistry between Orbach and Noth that makes the makes plots come to life.In addition, several of the regular guest stars (Tovah Feldshuh and Lorraine Toussant as memorable defense attorneys, Leslie Hendrix's first appearances as the irascible medical examiner) add life to the show in their brief roles. Finally, one fun part of watching the early years are the stars who have gone on to bigger careers: Claire Danes, Edie Falco, Sam Rockwell, Gloria Foster (the oracle from the Matrix), Desperate Housewife Felicity Huffman, Alias' Ron Rifkin, ER's Paul McCrane and Julianna Margulies.

As I have for the first two season sets, I take a star off for transfers and extras that aren't up to the quality of the show. I have mixed opinions about cheaply producing double sided DVDs in three slim cases without any written material, but at least it takes less space on my shelf.Transfer quality is in fact better than the first two seasons, but it's clear remastering was cursory as there is still periodic flecking. After no extras in the first two seasons, at least this set includes some. However, they're still disappointing especially after the long delay in putting this out.The 8 deleted scenes don't add much, although we finally see one of Briscoe's brassy middle aged girlfriends (for the only time in the series!)A five minute interview with and six minute tribute to Orbach by fellow stars doesn't even include the master of ceremonies of his celebration, Sam Waterston; they would have been better served just putting a copy of that on the DVD instead of getting Trial By Jury actors on the profound effect his 4 episodes with them had on their careers. What the series really needs is interviews with writers and actors on the various episodes. At least they don't include an ad as they did in the first year.

However, this is very much worth picking up for Law and Order fans.I just wish if Universal is going to price something at a premium that viewers can watch for free on basic cable, they'd at least add premium content.Maybe next season.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great as Usual
Terrific show as usual. They also improved in my opinion on the dvd case which now has three individual slim cases for each disc. Enough can't be said about this show, but, I'm partial to it being a Criminal Justice major...but the show is good as always..I just hope they speed up the release of the next seasons.

5-0 out of 5 stars Law & Order: The Early Years, The Best Years!
Law & Order is my favorite series, possibly of all-time because there have always been great characters and a great cast with fantastic writing to drive it forward. The early seasons are the best, and the third year gives us a little more Paul Sorvino until about 1/3 of the way into the season. This is when the beloved Jerry Orbach joined the cast, and gave us 11 years of television memories. This season has my favorite line up with Orbach, Chris Noth, Dann Florek, Michael Moriarty, Richard Brooks, and Steven Hill.TNT has aired several third season episodes lately, and I can't wait to see these all sharp, clear, and cleaned up on DVD instead of the old muggy broadcast versions. The first and second seasons look fantastic on DVD, and horrible on television - get these sets!

Also, this set features never before seen deleted scenes which ought to be a special treat for every fan along with the Jerry Orbach featurettes.I have a lot of favorite episodes in this season, and I will cherish this set just as I have all my other law & Order DVD sets (I've probably watched the first two seasons dozens of times already).

5-0 out of 5 stars The best season of Law & Order
The third season of Law & Order found Detective Mike Logan (Chris Noth) assigned another new partner in the sardonic Lenny Briscoe (Jerry Orbach), who would become the face of the series for eleven more seasons. The interplay between Briscoe and Logan is one of many highlights of the third season of Law & Order, as characters became more developed (such as Dann Florek's Captain Cragen) and the cases and investigations take twisting turns when the viewer least expects it; something that many cop/crime dramas have imitated throughout the years. However, this would be the last season for original cast members Florek and Richard Brooks, as the revolving cast door of Law & Order began to spin more than ever before. All in all, it's nice to finally have these episodes on DVD, and series afficiondos should consider this landmark season a must own.

4-0 out of 5 stars Its good there putting the older seasons on DVD
Law & Order's early seasons were really the best. In The third season you have Jerry Orbach coming into the show. All these episodes are great becuase i have seen many of them before. The Dvd is finally being released after a long wait after the 2nd season. The 15th season which is still on NBC on wedsnday is going to have a DVD release as i have heard. Also the New Law
& Order TrialBy Jury is going to be out on Dvd. Law & Order and all its other series are absolutly the best ... Read more

The Waltons' nearly 10-year run on network television grew out of the popular, 1971 made-for-TV movie The Homecoming, which was derived from a Depression-era, rustic setting ("Walton's Mountain"), and characters based on Earl Hamner Jr.'s autobiographical novel Spencer's Mountain--itself the source for a very nice 1963 feature film starring Henry Fonda and Maureen O'Hara. That's a lot of entertainment sprouting from Hamner's prose. But something about his seminal story of family values, rugged independence, and big dreams amidst a hardscrabble existence captured the hearts of American audiences, many of whom personally recalled severe economic adversity in the 1930s.

The Waltons: The Complete First Season collects those initial episodes from the series building on the strengths of the Homecoming pilot, which introduced the extended Walton clan led by a strong-willed mill owner, John (Andrew Duggan), and his equally resolute wife, Olivia (Patricia Neal). The Waltons recast those key roles (as well as a few others) with Ralph Waite and Michael Learned (yup, a female), but Richard Thomas carried over as oldest child John-Boy Walton, an aspiring writer whose cusp-of-manhood view informs the series. Will Geer (Seconds) replaced Edgar Bergen as Grandpa Walton, Ellen Corby remained as Grandma, and John and Olivia's large brood (seven kids in all) were filled out by largely unknown, young actors. The episodes, still delightful and touching, strong on production values and unusually tight and polished for primetime drama, tended to focus on creator Hamner's pet themes of self-sacrifice and heroic effort when the going got tough.

Year 1 highlights include "The Carnival," in which the impoverished Waltons, who can't pay for tickets to see a circus performance, end up sheltering stranded carney folk. "The Typewriter" is a classic about John-Boy "borrowing" a museum's antique typewriter, only to have his sister Mary Ellen (Judy Norton) sell it as junk. "The Sinner" concerns the arrival of a fundamentalist minister on Walton's Mountain, finding comfort in the words of religious iconoclast John Walton after the clergyman makes a fool of himself with moonshine. That's Hamner himself providing touches of narration. During the long run of the multiple-award-winning The Waltons, there were many changes in casting and storylines. But this boxed set reveals a fine series in its pristine state.

Year 2 still finds the original cast complete and the show humming along nicely on nostalgia for an earlier America, specifically the Depression-era 1930s, a time of sacrifice and family unity as The Waltons portrays it. The characters we came to know so well in season 1 continue to live in a spirit of cooperation and generosity, and with hope that a younger generation of Waltons will prosper and dream new dreams for everyone. The 24 episodes included in this boxed set feature a number of very strong stories, including a handful of classics, all immersed in the series' typically old-Hollywood production values. (Several season 2 shows were directed by Waltons star Ralph Waite.) Among the best is the premiere, "The Journey," in which the ever-noble, college-bound John-Boy (Richard Thomas) passes on a school dance and an important date to take an aging neighbor, Maggie Mackenzie (Linda Watkins), on a special, final journey. "The Separation" finds Grandpa (Will Geer) and Grandma (Ellen Corby) Walton feuding--even living apart--after the former crafts a secret plan to raise money to pay the family's electricity bill. (Their reconciliation is one of the series' most enjoyable and tender moments.) The memorable "The Thanksgiving Story" is a nail-biter in which John-Boy, facing a hopeful future as he awaits college and a visit from his girlfriend, endures a head injury in the family mill and must undergo surgery. Finally, "The Honeymoon" sees John (Waite) and Olivia (Michael Learned) finally taking their honeymoon after 19 years of marriage and seven kids. Throughout all the major storylines is a constant buzz of subplots concerning John-Boy's younger siblings--their joys and disappointments, first loves, accomplishments and relationships with one another. The Waltons never slows down, but it is capable of revealing the most delicate of feelings within shared or private moments. --Tom Keogh ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the Best
You'd be hard pressed to find a better collection of top-notch Star Trek episodes anywhere. Picard is one of the best Star Trek captains ever and Patrick Stewart the best actor to appear in the series. So right there you've got a winning combo. Add to that some of TNG's most interesting, thought provoking, and emotionally compelling episodes and you just can't loose.

Included on this DVD are the episodes:

The Big Goodbye
Sarek
Family
The Drumhead
Darmok
The Inner Light
Tapestry

Combined they not only provide a well rounded study of Picard but show off the heights to which TNG sailed. Anyone who is a fan of the show who didn't get the complete series on DVD or would like to be introduced to TNG should pick up this DVD collection.

4-0 out of 5 stars This is a fine set for non collectors.
I cannot understand the attitude of collectors that call this set "double-dipping". After all,you don't have to buy it,do you? No-one is twisting any collectors arm.
If you are a non-collector that just wants a "best of" series then sets like this are fine.
For example, there maybe fans that don't want to buy the largely mediocre first season of Star Trek:The Next Generation, but do want the Peabody Award winning episode "The Big Goodbye" from that season which is on this set. If that is the case, then this set is ideal for them.
In fact, one of the things that has been neglected by studios is that "best of" sets would be a good idea for fans of TV shows that don't want all of the episodes. I think that would be a very good thing.
"Best of" sets do have their place for fans that don't want to waste money on bad Trek episodes like "The Way To Eden,Angel One,Q-Less,Bride Of Chaotica" and other stinkers from the various Star Trek shows. I could make a bigger list of the bad episodes, but this review would take up too many pages.
Wouldn't it be nice if fans could buy the best episodes on any television series on one DVD set? I think that would be a great idea that would be embraced by some buyers.
This set also has a non-Trek documentary narrated by Patrick Stewart called "From Here To Infinity" which makes a nice extra.

1-0 out of 5 stars Yet another Star Trek DVD double-dip hose-job to be avoided
Sigh... once again Paramount tries to pull off the ol' dreaded DVD double-dip ploy (read my SYLT guide on this annoying phenomenon at www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/guides/guide-display/-/3CVFIEG84F2PF/ref=cm_aya_av.sylt_sylt/002-6135121-8178428) on the Trekkie crowd by releasing NextGen DVD sets based on a theme (like this "Best of Captain Picard" dealie) after having put them out in full-season sets over a year back (as of this writing)! Come on, now-- everybody knows that you're supposed to put the theme-based stuff out BEFORE the full-season sets if ya wanna squeeze the maximum amount of 'double-dip' buckage outta the fans! Take the distributors of the 'South Park' DVDs for example: they put out a couple single-disc volumes-- many of which had some kinda theme to 'em-- and THEN they put out the full-season sets. They did it this way because they knew they wouldn't make nearly as much of a killing the other way around! So remember: if you're gonna hose me and my fellow Trekkie DVDphiles, you may as well do it in a way that gets you as much of that filthy lucre as possible! Remember: the inferior product first, and THEN the 'new-and-improved' product! Just a little lesson in marketing for all of ya's out there!

As for the bonus 'From Here to Infinity' documentary show (narrated by ol' chrome-dome himself) that's to be included with this set: I've seen it, and found it a bit of a bore. Stewart narrates without any of the emotion or character he put into his most famous pop-culture icon. And it didn't help that the script he was reciting contained few cosmological factoids that I found even remotely interesting. Oh well-- there's always the Discovery and Learning Channels if I wanna see some truly interesting space docs...

5-0 out of 5 stars 90210 Dvd Debut!
So many petitions on the web have been crying out for 90210 to be released on DVD. Well its finally happened but not to the large scale everyone was hoping. Still one dvd release is better than nothing.

If enough people buy this DVD, then companies will take notice and begin to develop the Seasons everyone so dearly craves, converting them onto DVD for enjoyment.

This DVD is brilliant featuring the original pilot in its best form yet. The picture and sound have never been so finely tuned for a 90210 episode from season 1 which were always medicore in quality... UNTIL NOW!!!

You have the FULL cast featuring in this 90 minute pilot with the only exception being Luke Perry who plays Dylan. He is introduced in the second episode which follows the pilot. I can only hope that Season 1 will be released soon so we can all witness his big introduction into the show.

It's taken ages for this show to be released, dont follow the companies example and hesitate into whether you really want to purchase 90210 on DVD. JUST DO IT!

5-0 out of 5 stars 90210 FANS COME TOGETHER!~
First of all, it is NOT action packed, full of extra's and contains original music, like we'd all like. BUT THE POINT IS....... THEY HAVE PUT A 90210 product on DVD!!!! The more that are purchased may enhance our chances of ever seeing the entire series on DVD. I know a huge reason they havem't made the series on dvd yet is because all the music in all the episodes, and that would cause liscensing problems. If you are a TRUE 90210 fan, you will buy this simply to support any chance of them releasing the series in our lifetime. And I'm sure when they do, those box sets will include extras and fun stuff, but this is JUST the pilot episode, so you already know what you're gonna get, (if you've already seen the pilot.) One more note, on the cover of my now most favorite dvd, did anyone else notice they super-imposed Doug Emerson's head over top Luke Perry's body? Simply because "Dylan" isn't in the pilot, and "Scott" is. Sigh..... (Luke was HOOOOTTTTT!~ )Anyways, buy the dvd if you want to start your 90210 dvd collection, because I have faith in the powers that be that they WILL evetally put the series out. And when they do I'll buy every single season. WORD.

5-0 out of 5 stars 90210 on DVD!
One day in the near future...COULD WE PLEASE get 90210....all 10 seasons on DVD. I know a ton that would purchase them. They are a collectors. I grew up with this show. I could watch it everyday and never get bored.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I beg of you. PUT 90210 on DVD - You will make millions happy....and me!!! Good start with the pilot...but, lets keep going....lets get Season 1 out...!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Won't regret getting the starter set! The Pretender is good!
Getting this starter set is a no-brainer. Why? Because it includes a coupon that allows you to save $10 off the first season set which you will inevitably do after watching the first two episodes included in the starter set! Therefore the $10 off will cancel out the cost of the starter set so it's like a freebie.
But it's not all about money. This is quality television at its absolute best. Jarod is a Pretender and he uses his special skills to help people while avoiding the Centre. The story of his past and his ties with the Centre unravel with each new episode.
The Pretender starter set gets you off to a good start with the Pilot episode and the second episode, Every Picture Tells A Story, two very excellent episodes which set the tone for the rest of the season and do an awesome job of introducing the characters and their complexities while being thoroughly entertaining. In the pilot, we are immediately impressed by Jarod's all-encompassing genius in simple ways. Michael T. Weiss does an amazing job of portraying childlike innocence in his eyes, and convincing us of Jarod's abilities, his sense of responsibility for the exploitation of his skills by the Centre and his determination not to let them control his life anymore. Andrea Parker both in the pilot and the second episode successfully paints us a picture of a complicated character who has the ability to arouse our compassion for her tortured past in one scene, but provoke our wrath in another when she goes after Jarod with her single-minded dedication to the pursuit. Patrick Bauchau and the rest of the cast do an excellent job of bringing to life this very original creation of Steven Long Mitchell and Craig Van Sickle. There is more to say about these two great eps but why waste more time reading about it...get the starter set and see for yourself how awesome this show really is.

--Some memorable lines from the Pilot--
Sydney: The Centre wants him alive.
Miss Parker: Preferably.

Jarod: How many people died because of what I thought up?

Miss Parker: He defends the weak and abused.

Mrs. Nikkos: Are you a doctor?
Jarod: I am today.

Miss Parker: Hell of an environment to keep him in, Syd.

Miss Parker: I did a lot of frat boys in college. (lol)

I love the Pretender to death, one of the best shows ever on television. With that said, if you're thinking about purchasing this DVD set, you might as well go ahead and splurge for the whole first season (its not even that pricy at $30). It's such a good show, you won't regret it, plus I feel like the first two episodes barely give you a peek into the wonderful world that is The Pretender. I think this set was released to get the public interested by providing a little taste a a low price before the actual first season came out, trust me here, if you watch the first two episodes you'll only be wanting more. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars knots landing
Like everyone who has written before me, I too, am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Knots Landing on dvd! I am certain I would buy every episode even if it was sold by the show. I couldn't make plans on Thursday evenings until the summer reruns! When I started working nights when my kids were little, I would tape the shows and watch them until 2:00 a.m. because I couldn't wait till morning. That show is my all-time favorite of any show made. I fell in love with Mac, Gary and Ben. I would identify with Karen and Val. It just seemed like a typical, suburban neighborhood, except for their millions of problems. I laughed with them, cried with them, and kept hoping Val and Gary would end up together. I think that the last show had the best ending of any series with everyone ending up back at the cul-de-sac. Please release this soon as I can hardly wait anymore!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars We Need To Be Tied Up in "Knots" All Over Again
(Lima, Oh)
I am now 26 years old and have been a huge Knots Landing fan as far back as i can remember. The phone would be literally off the hook, the door locked, and the TV tuned into CBS every thursday night at 10pm as my mom could not miss an episode of Knots Landing. I have since followed in her footsteps and have a great love for the show, we also watched Dallas and i loved it as well but there were distinct differences between the 2 shows which i thought made them both equally awesome. It gave people a chance to tune in once a week to maybe forget their own troubles for an hour and follow the lives and events of the original 4 couples on Seaview circle (the early years on Knots), The couples we grew to love and wished lived next door to each of us. I have every episode on Homemade DvD's which has taken me the better part of 2 years to put together and its been a lot of hard work but a real labor of love. If you were to put Knots out on dvd i would have to say that i would also buy them as well just cause i'm not in the habit of loaning my dvd's to people but i could see my way to loan my copies to my friends if Warner Bros were to release Knots on DVD. I think i speak for Knots Landing fans everywhere when i say that after 14 years and over 344 episodes later, we still feel the need to be Tied Up In Knots!!

4-0 out of 5 stars What an outstanding soap!
Unfortunately Knots Landing was not telecast on my local TV station until its later years (1990 to 1992) and then it was no longer made. After seeing a special on the history of the show I realised that the early episodes wouldn't have appealed to me anyway, so getting the later episodes was fine.Who could forget when Joan Van Ark's character went a bit nutty and went around hassling everyone. And who could forget when Michelle Phillips from Mamas and Papas joined the show as Paige Matheson's mother. It was an excellent show, and hard to switch off.

WHen it does get released, it is going to start from Season 1 so it will take ages for the later episodes to be given the DVD treatment, if at all.Oh well, I have the memories of the cat fights with Michelle Phillips and Joan Van Ark.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can Hardly Wait!
Being the biggest "Knots Landing" fan in the world, I can hardly wait for it to be released on DVD!It was one of the longest running prime time dramas ever and it is long overdue for it's DVD premiere. The cast was incredible...Michele Lee, Joan Van Ark, Ted Shackleford, Kevin Dobson, Constance McCashin, Don Murray, Donna Mills, Lisa Hartman, Julie Harris, Alec Baldwin, John Pleshette, Kim Lankford, James Houghton, William Devane, Nicolette Sheridan....I could go on and on but you get the picture. There was no shortage of star power or talent on this show. Now that "Dallas" has begun it's run on DVD, let's get "Knots" on it's way! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Why isnt it available??
Why have the studios not cottoned onto the fact that fan's of this excellent TV series is in large demand. I've been looking for the videos and all sorts, there just not available here in the UK. Bring it out on DVD on all regions so I can get a one for my so desperate mum!! It'll make her day to own just on not alone a whole series or even all the episodes!!. The studios could make alot of money from its fans, we all want to own it! All you have to do is produce it and tell all the fan clubs including the UK one that Gale Gwent runs.
what an overall FANTASTIC programme...an absolute classic.

5-0 out of 5 stars Put Beauty and the Beast TV on DVDs!
This show was so unusual in that it inspired fans to help others for charity, read more literature, listen to classical music, and also brought out hidden talents, ie writing, drawing, creativity! This is a show that definitely needs to be released on DVDs. Fans have worn out their tapes watching them over and over. We need our show to be put out on DVD! Vincent and Catherine demand it.

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE this show. Please put every episode on dvd.
I love this show, and I hope they will put it on dvd. I hope they put every episode on dvd, instead of only first season like they did with the vhs tapes. If you like/love this show please vote to put it on dvd. They put so many dumb shows out, but not this great show. Why?? ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I WANT IT!!!
I may be a girl but I love Baywatch I have been going crazy seeing if there was any rumors going around about a release of this show and nothing yet but I really want to see this show!!!!I want to own it!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE FIRST SEASON IS THE BEST!
Baywatch was absolutely fantastic in it's first season featuring David Hasselhoff as Lieutenant Mitch Bucannon along with Parker Stevenson as Craig Pomeroy, Shawn Weatherly as Jill Riley, Billy Warlock as Eddie Kramer and Erika Eleniak as Shauni McClain. So far there is only a Dutch box set featuring the pilot episode "Panic At Malibu Pier" along with the first 4 episodes, but a season one box set - the full season would be absolutely fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. This is Baywatch at it's best with great character, well produced storylines about lifeguarding, not women in tight bathing suits. Shawn Weatherly is perfectly credible as the lifeguard Jill who unfortunately left before the season ended, as did Parker Stevenson. Now there's a portion of season 1 commercially available, it would be fantastic to see the whole lot released!

5-0 out of 5 stars BAYWATCH ON DVD!...PLEASE
COM' ONFRIENDSis out there on DVD andthe chick there are very old and are not funny(I never like the boring show "frieds" sorry girls and nerds and people who doesn't have many frieds) BAYWATCH GIRLS WERE GORGEOUS AND THEY DON'T NEED TO BE FUNNY TO ENTERTAING YOU.

Baywatch is was one of my favorite show, I watched it in spanish when I live in Mexico and LET ME TELL YOU GUYS THAT THIS WAS IS VERY POPULAR IN LATIN AMERICA, the beach, the sand covering your skin, the warmth of the sunshine and Pamela Anderson, Margolis, mmh those years with baywatch were heaven. When I came to los angeles I watched it for the second time(but a short period of time).
THis series was a classic, and it had a lot of people watching it every day,COME ON MALE FRIENDS LET'S UNITE AND WRITE PETITIONS FOR THIS SHOW, AND KNOW THERE IS A BIG COMMUNITY OF BAYWACHT FAN.Most of them can't watch Baywatch again because they are married.

5-0 out of 5 stars 90210 on DVD...please
As many of the other reviewer's have written, it's far past the time to have 90210 out on DVD. Series like Friends and Sex in The City, who have just ended, or haven't even ended yet, are out on DVD..what's the holdup? Watching the reruns on FX was okay for a while, but now they've started replacing them with reruns of other shows. Soon the series will be gone forever. If Aaron Spelling was smart, he'd release the rights and let the production of the complete series on DVD roll.

5-0 out of 5 stars beverly hills 90210
just about every single show is now released on dvd except 90210 and i still dont understand why..i watch it every single day..it's something i grew up with..it's basically the greatest of aaron spellings stuff so wouldnt the better stuff be released first? although since amazon does not have it and i'm too tired of waiting , i've been looking all over for 90210 and i think i might have found one company..not ppl from ebay but from a company..so i'm sure you all want to check it out if you havent already..the site is www.TVonDisc.com..it is only sold altogether and not seperatly..the full 10 seasons for $350.00..but i'm still skeptical so i wrote an email to them with questions but havent received anything back from them yet..so i will keep checking and let you know more and i hope you do the same for me..thank you

5-0 out of 5 stars Be Patient
We as fans have to wait until syndication is not profitable for the show anymore. They are still making money with it showing on FX. Once they money stops or slows down, hopefully they will come out with each season one after another! Until that point we just have to wait....

5-0 out of 5 stars BH 90210 - The Complete 1st Season
They really need to consider releasing these on DVD, I'm sure many fans from the ages of 17-30 would be very interested in these products, and let's face up....women between those ages make up the biggest merchandising market out there. I, for one, am HUGE on dvd collections, and I cherish mine. So many are starting to release now, and I love the fact that I can simply pop in a DVD now to watch my favorite shows or host my marathons of a certain tv show. I would definetly buy BH 9010, all seasons, if they were released!

5-0 out of 5 stars Beverly Hills 90210
Here it is! We have been waiting for this a decade or so. I wish the Studio could finally realise that this tv show created a trend in the 90's. Sometimes it is hard to believe that people can forget every guilty please they had. I am sure that there is hundreds and hundreds of people that saw this show and even though it may have been some kind of tv sin for some it is one of the best shows. I am eager to hear that the show is finally on DVD and we will be able to enjoy it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars THE HOTTEST SUPERCOUPLE ON TELEVISION!!!!
Johnathan and Jennifer Hart were the quintessential super sexy couple of the late 70's and early 80's!!!! They rocked as the jet-setting, totally in love, detective duo!!! They had it all, wealth, glamour, passion, and no kids!!!
I just loved the way they stumbled on to those unexpected exciting adventures and murder mysteries. They made it look so easy!!! This show worked on so many levels, you had Jennifer who was sexy as hell, and you didn't hate her because she was so beautiful. She was just so lovable!!! Then there was Johnathan, handsome, but not beefcake, had a great sense of humor, and the guy was completely smitten with his adoring wife. Let's face it they had the ultimate fantasy dream marriage that only existed on prime-time television!!!
I hope we the fans of this dynamite show wont have to wait too much longer for the dvd release, and it would be nice to see a current interview with Robert Wagner & Stephanie Powers. God! I can't believe Robert Wagner turned 75 recently, he looks fantastic!!! Stephanie Powers is still pretty well preserved as well. I would also love to see a couple of her best mini-series come to dvd in America, Mistral's Daughter and Deceptions.
