Hope it gets a good DVD release....
Which is to say with bonus features. The show ran on CBS from 1970 to 1975, and was a rateings success for almost all the time it was on.The chemistry between Tony and Jack was great.The first season shows were also very hilarious and retained the atmosphere of the stage production by Neil Simon. Hopefully the DVD release will contain cast and crew interviews.

ODD COUPLE has NEVER jumped the shark
So what are these geniuses waiting for?

The same thing with Tony Randall's funny movie from the 1950s "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?"In it with him were Jayne Mansfield, Mickey Hargitay, Joan Blondell and Groucho Marx (in a hilarious cameo).

They'll put junk out but not the good stuff!

Best sitcom ever - NOT ON DVD YET!!!!!!!!
It is just unbelivable that the Odd TV series has not yet made it to DVD . With all the CR@P new shows out that make it to DVD 2 months after they first air I am shocked that one of the best loved TV series has not yet made it. To the producers or persons in charge of potentially releasing the Odd couple on DVD. You stand to loose a TON of $money$ by not releasing all 144 episodes ASAP. You will be Forcing FANS everywhere to purchase bootleg DVD's which are Readily available Worldwide on the internet. Help the Fans and yourselves by doing justice to the best show ever on TV and give us what we want before it's too late.

Who are the Rocket Scientists that are holding this up?
Wait a minute. I'm reading your lips. You're saying "I much fear" some lunatic holding up the release of this series!"And you're right. Every time I see that some completely unfunny show like "The Golden Girls" has been released on DVD before this series, I cringe!There must be an "enormous woman" blocking the release of this show. And just like Aristophanes, this is ridiculous.So, Let's Make a Deal, Monte -- release this show and I'll buy 10 copies, and I promise not to trade them for one more can of squid.

RELEASE THE ODD COUPLE ON DVD OR I'LL DIE!!!!
I just can't believe this absolutely wonderful series has not gotten the respect of being released on dvd!!!! I grew up watching this show and simply adored Felix Unger and Oscar Madison. For years I did'nt even know the show was based on the play and feature film of the Odd Couple and did'nt care! To me Tony Randall and Jack Klugman were the original Felix and Oscar, they were so perfectly cast.

I especially loved when they would do flashbacks when Oscar and Felix were married to Blanche and Gloria, because it allowed you to see the characters in a diferent setting before they got divorced, which made you understand why Felix drove Gloria crazy despite the love they still had for one another.

I have so many favorite episodes it's hard to choose but, I just love the ones when Oscar and Felix went on the game shows Password and Let's Make a Deal. They were simply hilarious!
I also loved the time when Felix stole the Lassie like dog that was being verbally mistreated by his owner. Needless to say Felix Unger was my hero, he always tried to do the right thing but went about it in the wrong way. I suppose that was part of his appeal and he was a true neat master.

VALERIE BERTINELLI HAD THE MOST GORGEOUS HAIROF THE 70'S !
When I recently watched the One day at a time reunion special it reminded me how truly great this show was and it should be released on dvd immediately. It's funny how the tv shows you like the least go on dvd alot faster. Gee, I wonder why?

Well I hope Columbia Tristar won't take too much longer releasing this well written show on dvd, considering it reflects the times we are living in now with divorced women being single parents at a rapid pace. Even Valerie Bertinelli and Mackenzie Phillips reflected on their own experiences now being divorced moms. I should have known the incomparable Norman "Creative Genius" Lear would be the creater and executive producer of such a great and well written sitcom!!!
Whenever the series is released it would be nice to feature the reunion special on the dvd extras. Gosh! Everybody still looked great! When Valerie Bertinelli commented how cute she was back then, I said "VALERIE YOUR STILL CUTE!!!!

Come On, Already, Sony!!!
One of the best shows of the 1970's, "One Day at a Time" is very deserving for a first class DVD release.I just wish Sony would get their butts in gear and release it.I heard it should be coming out this fall.It's still quite a bit a ways but hopefully they will stick to it and not keep pushing it back.

When I saw the reunion in Feb. I fell in love with this show all over again. I hope CBS TV or whoever owns the rights to this show will release it on DVD (soon) because this is one of the best sitcoms of the 70s!!!

I can't wait til this show comes out on disc!!!It was one of the best things to ever come out of the 70s and its a shame this hasn't been seen in syndication for so long.

Julie threatens to run off when Ann won't allow her to go on a co-ed camping trip.

Ann's boyfriend invites her on a weekend trip.

Ann is jealous of the attention Barbara and Julie give their father's new girlfriend.

Ann is up for a job working for a lecherous guy (Robert Mandan - who played Chester on "Soap").

David asks Ann to marry him, but only gives her a week to make up her mind.

Julie decides she should be living a more extravagent lifestyle.

07) SUPER BLUES
Ann doesn't want to invite Schneider to her party because everyone is afraid he'll ruin it with his dorky sense of humor.

Julie's boyfriend Chuck (the one she runs away with in season two) wants to have sex, but she's not sure.

Blink Blink...where 's I dream of Jeannie DVD?
I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the I dream of Jeannie series on DVD. It is one of my all time favorite shows and I've become a serious collector of I dream of Jeannie items. Please hurry and release this wonderful show on DVD!!!

First season (1965-66)
This was the only year the show was filmed in black and white.The theme song was also a little different.And there was a voiced-over opening credits sequence that was eventually replaced by the animated opening we all remember.

A female Russian cosmonaut winds up with Jeannie's bottle, so Tony schemes to get it back.

Jeannie finally accepts Roger's marriage proposal to make Tony jealous, and conjurs up a house for herself right across the street from Tony's.

Jeannie conjurs up a Tony clone to make the real Tony jealous.

16 - Get Me To Mecca On Time (1-8-66)
It's the Day of Ramda, so Tony has to take Jeannie to Mecca or else she will disappear.

Roger discovers the truth about Jeannie and steals her (and her bottle) from Tony.

18 - Is There an Extra Genie In The House? (1-22-66)
Roger dates Dr. Bellows' neice (Judy Carne) - Emmaline Henry also appears in this episode, but not as Dr. Bellows' wife!

19 - Never Try to Outsmart A Jeannie (1-29-66)
Jeannie begs Tony to take her on his trip to Rome, but she can't get a passport.

20 - My Master The Doctor (2-5-66)
Jeannie blinks Tony into the operating room when Roger needs his appendix removed.

21 - Jeannie & The Kidnap Caper (2-12-66)
Tony orders Jeannie not to use her powers to help him anymore - and then he's kidnapped by the Chinese.

22 - How Lucky Can You Get? (2-19-66)
Tony and Roger are promoted to Majors, so they go to Reno to celebrate.

Jeannie turns Tony into a professional golf player.

24 - Permanent House Guest(3-5-66)
Dr. Bellows insists on moving in with Tony after he sees an elephant in Tony's living room.

Roger goes to a fortune teller, so Tony and Jeannie plot to expose her as a (...).

26 - My Master The Great Rembrandt (3-19-66)
Jeannie turns the painting Tony made into an authentic Rembrandt, making Dr. Bellows suspect him of forgery and larceny.

27 - My Master The Thief (4-2-66)
Jeannie reclaims a pair of old shoes from a museum because she thinks they used to be hers, and of course Tony is blamed.

Tony tries to keep Jeannie from killing a visiting princess.

Dr. Bellows finds Tony floating in his chair in his living room, so he lies and says he practices magic.

I wish that whoever is putting out this dvd will hurry up! This show was great! I watched it at my grandmother's house all the time! I love this series and the andy griffith show better than any other series from the 50's 60's time period. When this show finaly comes out I suggest that you buy it right away! The first season will very probbly come out first so the theme song will be different. The later season's theme song is the one that is remembered today. ... Read more
