There is actual acting here!
I have to warn everyone first-I'm a Monique Gabrielle fan-so this is one sided.
The story is about 'Angel',a girl put in the mental ward for killing her mom.When released,she goes to the only outside person she knows-her mothers last boyfriend, who coincidentally doesn't know how his girlfriend died in the past.
Now-his current beau is not thrilled at all by the new houseguest and wants her out.So Angel tries to sabotage their relationship and remain in the house by whatever means necessary.
'Hand that rocks the Cradle' coming to mind?Only without the kid.The subplot is Angels 'step dad' having business ties with Eric Estrada-an LA minor drug lord.
But,B movie or not-I was pleased by Moniques acting prowess and seeing 'Ponch' play the other side of the law.

Bad Script Sinks Sexy Thriller
This just-about-average erotic thriller is about as thrilling as having a hammer dropped on your head. Is the movie about: A) the problems of fidelity in the lives of an American couple? B)The pitfalls of gambling? C) The decadence of the wealthy? or D) lotsa wild, yet soft-X, sex?

I couldn't tell. All I was sure of was that the movie was a bare-bones rip-off of "Indecent Proposal", with a pointless mob subplot to prop up the unraveling story. Granted, Tane McClure and Gabriella Hall are hotties, and the sex scenes do have some steam, so the movie isn't a total disaster, but ultimately, there's just not much to recommend here.

Troma's release of Akdov Telmig's 1997 Tight Spot! explores the natural and obvious intersection of the private investigator thriller and soft-core pornography genres.Unfortunately, although the acting (both thriller and soft-core) is passable, it does not hit the peaks of either genre.The movie starts with a ski-slope murder, leads into the secret life of a corrupt, eccentric millionaire, and ends with the private dick getting the girl.All along the way there are graphic simulated sex scenes and a couple of mildly graphic murders.Neither the murders nor the sex scenes bring about any clear climax.The real stars of this film are the locations the characters travel to as the convoluted plot unfolds.The gritty streets of North Beach in San Francisco, the beaches of Mazatlan, and the seamy L.A. suburbs of the San Fernando Valley, shot on location, are visually stunning.Fans of Telmig's similarly themed and -clad Vegas High Stakes will likely also find this movie entertaining.The disc includes the standard Troma promotional fare of trailers, short sketches, music videos, and a Lloyd Kaufman intro.--Brian Saltzman ...
