Yea Great to See 2 Kickboxer Films at once, unless they 1&2
Yea it is great to see 2 Kickboxer films on the same casette if its only 1 and 2,if you wanna see any Kickboxer films, get 1 and 2, not the worst ones, 3 and 4.Get 1 and 2

it's good to see two kickboxer films on one dvd.
kickboxer 3 is some boring. kickboxer 4 too, but the fourth part
is darker and the pictures and covers to this film are very intersting. the flashbacks at the begin of the film are good. on the first time i've seen the uncut version of this film, I was suprised about many very realistic fightscenes
(it's boring to see always jumping spin kicks).another thing I like thats sloan and po hasn't bound fists.sasha's thaiboxshorts
is very cool.
the finalfight between sloan and po is one of the best muay thai fights in moviehistory.

Two Great Movies For The Price Of One
It's great to see Kickboxer 3&4 on dvd, after the release of 1,2,and 5. Kickboxer 3 The Art Of War takes a break from the sloan family vs tong po battle and takes place with david and xian going to rio. They bring down a guy who pimps out under age girls and all the while defending his title sucessfully.
Kickboxer 4 The Aggressor is a great movie going back to david sloan vs. tong po. Much darker than the other kickboxer's david and tong po do battle one final time it is a must see and must have for any fan of the kickboxer series ... Read more

I like this one
I like this one due to the fact that when i watched it i was well into the rollerblading scene. Its a good movie about a guy who tries to save his little brother becoming a drug addict, on a new drug called 'mist', the punch line is however, this drug makes the user completely impotent. This is a ploy from the Rollerboys themselves to make the America a better place, after its downfall. They call the drugs affects 'the day of the rope'. Corey Haim then comes into play as a hot shot rollerblader, who needs to convert to a rollerboy to save his little bro. By converting he is pushed into a life of sex hungry women, and beating up innocent civilians. This is a good film, but it only deserves three stars due to the fact that its quality and content and not upto todays standards, still i urge you to buy this one.

THE COOLEST COREY HAIM MOVIE!
I am watching this movie right now on tv and it's just so cool! It's set in the future when Corey Haim is a rollerskater and joins the Rollerboys gang to tip off the police on all the bad things they do. While doing this he delivers pizzas and takes care of his little brother. I know many people might think it's a corny movie but to me it's so bad that it's good! And for all you 80's kids, COREY HAIM LOOKS HOT! He's hot enough that you can fry an egg off the screen! SIZZLING! Definitely the better looking Corey!

'Xanadu' it ain't
"Mad Max" meets "I Was a Communist for the FBI" on Rollerblades in a time capsule of late Cold War-era apocalpytic fears. While the sets don't hold up well a decade later, the script seems surprisingly fresh and Corey Haim's performance is free of child-star smarm as he grapples with the dual loyalties of an informer. Also features a young Patricia Arquette.

Unwittingly relevant
Rick King's 1991 juvenile delinquent flick unwittingly became relevant following the Columbine massacre. I don't know if it was an influence on those disturbed minds, but the Rollerboys gang wears trenchcoats and threaten the "day of the rope", when revenge will be at hand. This eerie quality aside, King's pulp teenage thriller shoots above the mark and deserves a second look.
King has made a career of making thrillers that step beyond the studio-approved formulaic scripts. In Hard Choices ('84) the director brought together the unlikely combination of John Sayles, J.T. Walsh and Spalding Gray for a satisfying low-profile crime drama. The Killing Time ('87) and A Passion to Kill ('94) are further examples of his use of psychological motivation to drive the characters beyond the scripts' pale description. In Forced March ('90) King delved deeper into his preoccupation with identity with the Hungarian production wherein an actor's life and the part he plays- a poet/victim of the holocaust- begin to blur.
Released in 1991, Prayer of the Rollerboys documents a pause in american life between the lotus eating 80's and the come-down of the 90's-- the information blitz of the internet and the no-one-is-safe fear of domestic terrorism. However, beyond the analysis, Roller Boys is simply a lot of fun. Even Pauline Kael was said to have quietly admired it.

Please stop the pain, but buy this film
Well well well, how do you review a film which has obviously been written and directed by a chimp. And not one of those cool rollerskate chimps who smoke cigars, but a stinky Gregory chimp. This film is amazing you have to buy it. The premise of the story revolves around a caravan that mixes stuff. Enter Haim who skates around for a bit, followed by his friends whom all wear the same horrible jackets. The jackets designed to make them look menecing and cool, look as though a blind cat nailed to a skateboard made them. This film is the best. Where else can you see Haim ( quite litrally as he is a wash out ) go around on "ultra cool in 91" roller blades trying to stop a group of mullets and their caravan. No one in this film deserves to win the day, and as the film continues you wish someone would put a stick on the floor so they all fall and break their noses. You must buy this excellent film. Stylish but unoriginal B thriller.
Recently someone said in a spanish "Twilight" TV review that film noir fanatics don't only love cliches, they also demand them. This B movie is a good example. There is absolutely nothing in this movie we haven't seen a thousand times before: the story of a man with misterious past that comes to a small village and changes the lives of its inhabitants. Meanwhile, a subplot set in a bigger city explains a story of police corruption and the reason why the man escaped.

Ok, you just can stare at it hating it and guessing what's the next plot twist, but if you are a film noir fanatic you will just know this is not the way to enjoy this kind of movies. You just have to relax, enjoy the simplicity of the plot, the effectiveness of character descriptions, the good acting and the occasional outbursts of violence.

This films provides all the above, and I really enjoyed acting (Dennis Hopper's portrait of a coward sheriff is antologic) and the occasional violence (there are a few shootings very well coreographed and quite believable). The pace is apropiately slow, caring more about details and building an atmosphere of danger and mistery than anything else, and the only reason I did not enjoy the movie completely it is that the police investigation subplot is given too much footage, and it is poorly acted: Peter Coyote is, this time, giving a dull performance.

Maceda seems to be a gunspecialist,but never troughout the movie makes it clear where his skills are coming from.The shootouts are in quality the same as in most televisionactionseries. Very entertaining soccer movie...
I have to say that this movie has been a favorite of mine ever since I can remember. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in an all around fun and entertaining movie about soccer.

third rate low cost movie
third rate low cost movie! football fans stay AWAY! awful movie and has nothing to do with football as such except that it stars a pele look alike. Useless trash!

BEST MOVIE EVER CREATED
This is the greatest movie that i have ever seen. if you are a soocer player or not you will enjoy this film. it is a story that every athlete can relate to. it is about courage, heroism, passion, determination, betrayal, and friendship. this movie portrays the life of an athlete, who wants nothing more than to be the best. Hot Shot is without a doubt the best sport film and possibly the best drama movie of all time.
