4-0 out of 5 stars Finally, the complete series is quickening to dvd
This show was sometimes great entertainment to me. Basically a dimestore romantic-adventure novel brought to life. I think the producers were mostly successful with providing something for everyone. The shows ranged from brilliantly written, to definitely a bit cheesey. The dvd collection is better than the vhs, however questions did arise quickly about it's quality. I think it was the 2nd episode on disc one, when the disc appeared to be sort of freezing up for a minute. I hit FF for a second, and it was fine again. ( This was with a brand new dvd player ) Since that occurance, I have not yet run into any other problems; although I've only watched 1/3 ofthe discs. I did have a couple other little gripes about these dvd's, but nothing too serious. I would have preferred more than three episodes on a disc...a typical season for ex. has NINE discs-three unfolding booklets of 3 discs, which all fit into this 1/2 box...I wasn't too crazy about that at all. There is however a lot of content within them if you like bloopers and interviews and watcher chronicles...I do and I don't.. I mean, it's tough enough to watch all 6 seasons..I really don't need boxes hoggin up all my shelf space just so studios get extra market value-which is also why it took em so long to go over to dvd's, and why it's off the air. Nevertheless, I do still appreciate the Highlander phenomenon. It's solidly entertaining while it also demonstrates virtues that I like. I can live without the Duncan Macleod boxer shorts though, and the pillows with kissy lips, and the rest of the merchandising extraveganza. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best series ever made
It's jam pack with everything a fan really wants, and the best part you can go form your favorite episode to another. 2 tumbs up!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Kids Movie
Its an excellent kids movie, I bought a copy for my niece & nephew, it always helps to have these animal centered storylines but child actor (no longer a kid) Kevin Zegers also shows why he has become such an up and coming star. This edition of the Bud series is also probably the best of the lot with The World Cup movie a close second.

5-0 out of 5 stars AIR BUD - Greatest of All
Not many sequels are a good as the first, but this is an exception. When Bud appears in his uniform you react much like if the band just started with a John Philip Sousa march. Bud makes you swell with good feelings. Like the first movie, the dog shots are real and not just special effects. You do not need to like football to be cheering. I find the only time ball games are a good spectator sport is when Air Bud is starring. But then I have a couple of golden retrievers and 10 other dogs. You don't need kids to love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Love This movie!
Buddy is a golden retriever who likes basketball. Now, he's back in football. In the end of the movie, there's a song I love it's called "One Moment." I love that song so much. I hope you get this movie and like it, too! It's a really good song!

4-0 out of 5 stars Likable Sequel.
Buddy has become a well known dog, while his Master (Kevin Zegers) has become a teenager. Now the Teen has discover Buddy could also play Football! Now two Russians (Nora Dunn & Perry Anzilott), who steal animals and Discover Buddy Talent and wants to steal the animal to bring back with them in Russia.

Directed by Richard Martin (Canadian T.V. Director) has an entertaining Sequel, Kids will enjoy this One. DVD`s has an sharp Pan & Scan (1.33:1) Aspect Ratio and an Clear Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. DVD`s only extra is The Original Theatrical Tralier. Good family fun. Grade:B+.

5-0 out of 5 stars Golden Great
This film will be enjoyed by anyone who has ever loved dogs. It is about a great golden retriever who can play football and his owner Josh (Kevin Zegers). I liked this movie not only because I like dogs but also because it had a great story line. I recommend this movie for adults and children of all ages! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Misleading (esp. for people new to Highlander)
Ok, so this i probably mostly my own fault for not having done the proper research on it before I purchased it, but when I saw the DVD Highlander "Finale", I was expecting an individual release of the actual final episode of Highlander: The Series. Naturally, I was quite disappointed when I found it to actually be the season finale from year three...which I already have on DVD because I own the complete season boxed set.
However, I give this three stars despite that setback due solely to the fact that being a part of the Highlander series it is naturally a wonderful piece of action/adventure/sci-fi/fantasy storytelling.
If you already own season three you can probably skip this release (unless you are set on having every Highlander DVD that's produced). If not, then I recommend giving this release a shot.

5-0 out of 5 stars Give us Chris on DVD!
I've been patient long enough. There are all kinds of DUMB TV series that have been released on DVD, much to my amazement. Who's buying the junk, anyway? But the outstanding "Chris Isaak Show" is nowhere to be found--yet. WHERE IS IT???? The show is witty, terrifically funny, self-deprecating, and intelligent, and of course there's the great music. I'd never bought a Chris Isaak CD before I watched the first season of the show, and he's still not anywhere near my favorite artist. But in the context of the show, the music is perfect. And I feel like the guys in the bands--and Yola!--are close friends.
Hey Showtime, I subscribed just to watch this series. You'll never be HBO, but the "Chris Isaak Show" is an absolute winner. If you won't renew the show, at least package up the 3 seasons and release them on DVD!

5-0 out of 5 stars please release it!
The Chris Isaak Show is unique and SO funny.....I can't believe with all the TV shows that have been released on DVD, they haven't put this one out!!! I watched it faithfully when I had Showtime, and now that I don't have it anymore I've been having serious withdrawals. Please, someone pay attention to all these hungry fans and throw us a bone! I'll buy every season!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Chris, where are you?
One of the funniest, most entertaining shows on TV and it's not available on DVD. Wake up Showtime. You've clearly dropped the ball on this. The Chris Isaak Show is the ONLY reason I subscribe to Showtime. Please, please give us long suffering fans a chance to own this fabulous show.

5-0 out of 5 stars Could watch this over and over again!!!
This is the one TV show I would buy on DVD (outside of the original Star Trek). I watched the reruns on Showtime over and over again because it is so darn funny. HBO releases every show they make and Queer as Folk, not near as clever, is on DVD, where is Chris?!

5-0 out of 5 stars A DVD Travesty!
When will the wonderful Chris Isaak show be available on DVD? With all the TV junk that's out on DVD, it's ridiculous that this great show isn't available. The Silvertones (Chris' band) play great and are really funny. The guest stars are frequently wonderful (Stevie Nicks had a great sense of humor about herself and her image). The writing is smart and funny. I love the musician's world "insider" view. We need our C(hris)I(saak)TV! ... Read more
