5-0 out of 5 stars The struggles of teens
WOW! AWESOME movie!!! This movie is about the struggle of teens. Sex and std's is an ongoing issue and you never really think it could happen to your child. But one mother found out she was wrong. This is some thing that can even happen to the "good" kids. This is a movie I would recommend to all teens and parents. They should watch it together. Thanks life time !!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Movie!
I watched this movie the night it premeried on Lifetime, they had been showing preview's for it all weekend and me and my aunt figured why not watch it. I loved it! I think it gives you a good view of what's going in the minds of girls 16 and below, everyone wants to be popular and some kids will go to great heights to get there. But this movie doesn't only show you that it show's you how naive parents can be when it comes to there children, and how even if it's your best friend coming to you telling you what's really going on you still won't believe it until it's too late.

4-0 out of 5 stars A LOT like Kids
I've seen a lot of movies like this (kids engage in sexual activity and theres consequences.) She's Too Young is sort of like a tv remake of Kids(1995). In Kids Tellie has sex with a lot of girls and gives most of them HIV. She's Too Young is almost identical to Kids. In She's Too Young a group of popular boys spread an STD to girls which then spread it to more boys and it eventually spread around the whole school turning into a mess and getting to the parents knowing about it and one mother despretly taking her action after her daughter gets the STD.

5-0 out of 5 stars She's Too Young
This is the best Lifetime movie that I've seen in a while, except for We Were the Mulvaneys, but that doesn't really count. The only reason I watched this is becuase Miriam McDonald from Degrassi was in it. This movie is great though, lets see if Lies My Mother Told Me can compare to it.

5-0 out of 5 stars up and coming beautiful star
I have seen Alexis Dziena in other movies and on Law and Order andbesides her obvious beauty, she shows great potential.

Enjoy watching her on the screen. ... Read more

And sometimes they come back... for the franchise!Aaaaaaaaargh! Though a TV movie franchise is a somewhat subliminal thing. This double-feature DVD contains one movie based on a story by Stephen King, and another movie based loosely on the first movie.More of a variations on a theme than a continuance. In Sometimes They Come Back, Tim Matheson is made to relive a boyhood tragedy that claimed the life of his brother when the group of bullies who waylaid him in a train tunnel way back when come back from the dead to settle an old score.Convincingly scary as this is, side B is even better, having upped the ante from the demonic bullies of the first movie to the satanic worshippers of the second. This time it's Michael Gross who needs to learn that you can't escape your past, having as a kid thwarted the satanists who claimed the life of his sister, and who lately have returned to kill his mother and are now after his daughter. The effects are great here, with a standout being the formation of a demon from a pool of blood. One of the Arquette clan, Alexis Arquette, as head of the satanic ritualists (Vinnie Barbarino meets Marilyn Manson), is a kind of special effect all by himself, grinning and mugging with uncontained glee at the most splatter-heavy moments.Followed by a sequel, Sometimes They Come Back... for More. --Jim Gay ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good movie, bad dvd transfer!
This is a great movie that is based on a rather strange short story by the master himself, Stephen King. The original short story was very short and had a "strange" ending. This movie, i my opinion is better than the story by far. The original short story I think is only 20 or 30 something pages and lacks alot of characterization. This movie fills in the giant hole that is in the short story. And believe it or not, this made-for-tv movie has great acting. The boys who play the hoods are pretty convincing--especially Richard Lawson. The story is about a teacher named Jim Norman who moves to a new town in whicch his brother was killed by a group of hoods in about thirty years earlier. He keeps having dreams about them that are haunting him. One day on of his students ends up missing and one of the dead hoods from the 50's is seating in his seat--for every person they kill another one comes back. Student after student keeps being killed and another after another hood returns to class for revenge. Th only way that they can be stopped is if they have a final confrontation with Jim back in the tunnel that claimed the lives of his brother and the hoods. The results are awesome. On another note the DVD isnt very good. The transfer doesnt seem to do the justice. The picture messes up every once and a while and sometimes i noticed that the words seem to not match their mouth! The sound is awesome though. Thank you for your time.

5-0 out of 5 stars A masterpiece!!!!
Wow!!! What a great movie. This is my favorite movie of all time. Sometimes they come back is so well thought out. The story is heartbreaking and startling on some scenes. Although, you can't help but to laugh at those killers at times. The laughs!!!! You'll never forget the hoods's laughs.
Jim Norman goes back to his hometown years after he and his family fled when he was just a kid. The horrible death of his older brother drove he and his parents to live elsewhere. Although, since this was the only teaching job open, Jim has returned once again. The horrible day when his brother was harassed by 4 gangsters that soon led to three of the hoods's deaths is played over and over again in Jim's mind, for Jim's brother lost his life too. Jim is constantly haunted in his dreams but soon he is haunted literally. The 3 departed gangsters return one by one to finish "unsettled business".
This is a must see film. Every actor was so good at their part. It seems like you're there and all through the movie, you're on edge for Jim and his family as he deals with the figures on his past.

5-0 out of 5 stars A perfect 10!
This movie was extrememly fun and exciting. Although it's considered horror, to me it was just pure action and entertainment from start to finish! I love the way 3 cool greasers from the '60s come back in the '90s and are exactly the same as when they died in '63. How cool those greasers were and the way all the other kids marveled at their charisma in the classroom was cool! It was also cool how that kid Jimmy became a man and then stood up to them. Those greasers and their hotrod were so cool. This movie is an A plus! Rock on Stphen King!

5-0 out of 5 stars Would Merging Pasts Thrill Someone? I say, yes.
'The Unsaid' is a distinct movie, in that it makes many different attempts in the name of alleviating suspense in a film. Psychology and the problems enhanced by its nature usually form the grounds of the plots of most American movies. This movie, is an addition. But, it goes beyond that state, by presenting a psychological quandary and developing on it until the end of the movie.

To be more specific, Andy Garcia plays the therapist, who has lost his son recently by his suicide. One of his fellows asks for help in a case of one of her patients, Vincent Kartheiser who comes out to have an extraordinary past. Having sworn not to deal with anymore patients, Garcia still cannot refrain himself from seeing and helping him. The fact that Andy hasn't been able to forget the pain of his son's loss will make Andy's therapy of Vincent very special, because after some time with him, Vincent will reminisce Andy's own son.

Moreover, in the course of the movie, what you think you know will be altered by the surprising revelations. Different pasts will merge with others. The movie will become a thrilling psychological tension. You definitely do not want to miss this movie, by any means. Nothing, but 'The Unsaid' will be on your mind for a long time, after you see the movie.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Unsaid Says A Lot
The very best actors are primarily interested in expressing their talent and making a good movie. Andy Garcia and Al Pacino are two that come to mind. Both seem to work with their supporting cast to bring out the best in them. This is definitely the case in "The Unsaid" and it's wonderful to watch talented actors working together to make an entertaining movie. The movie has no shallow parts and deals with the subject of a child's suicide and the aftermath realistically. Sometimes it's hard to watch because you deeply feel the pain of the father played by Andy Garcia. It shows how suicide tears the family structure apart. The remaining sibling feels neglected by her father and each family member feels responsible for the death in some way. The father is a psychologist but cannot deal with his own pain. In this frame of mind, he starts treating a patient that has experienced the murder of his mother that is the same age as his dead son. Two wounded souls are given an opportunity to either face the truth and start healing or repress the truth and destroy themselves. Both have secrets and shame they are hiding. A touching movie with some wonderful acting.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
Speechless. Everything about this movie is excellent. Worth buying if you don't want to buy then rent.

5-0 out of 5 stars A REAL SLEEPER!
PLEASE do not overlook this movie because it is not well known. A GREAT thriller with lots of twists! This one one of the best movies I have seen all year!

5-0 out of 5 stars not your average thriller
When this movie begins, although the acting is very good, you think it is an average thriller. you expect Kartheiser will play mind games with Garcia but Garcia will finally manage to overcome it. The movie is much more true than that. The movie is very real, but yet it is a true thrill and a surprise and an interest at the same time. I highly recomend it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Happy Friday the 13th :)
Yes, I was pretty happy when I heard that Paramount were expanding their released Friday DVD's to include Parts 5 and 6. Especially six, as it has a special place in my (bleeding) heart. This was the first Friday the 13th I ever watched and to this day still remains my favourite. Argueably, this is the first friday the 13th where the film openly makes fun of itself and the genre yet includes all the gore a horror enthusiast could want :)

Some of the deaths are downright humorous (Breaking a guy in half - literally), but a ROCKING Soundtrack from the Immortal ALICE COOPER (He's the best!) definately makes this a necessity for the home collection.

The only reason this DVD gets 4 out of 5 is due to the Severe (!) lack of Bonus Features and the Sound. PARAMOUNT: Could we please get 5.1 mixes?!?!?! If not, at least some Deleted Scenes / Interviews / Commentary for the Bonus Features section? Let's make a little EFFORT here guys, and stop stiffing us on the Discs, because we all full well know that in a year or so, you'll probably release a box set with enough features to make you gag, rendering these discs obsolite. :( Not good.

Well, back to topic, this film was great; my personal favourite Friday the 13th and DEFINATELY worth a view... or two ... or three ... etc.

4-0 out of 5 stars JASON LIVES WITH A VENGEANCE on DVD in THIS VERY FUN SEQUEL
First, I can say I liked JASON LIVES - FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 6, which I thought was one of the better sequels in the film series and a big improvement over the depressing NEW BEGINNING. JASON LIVES - FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 6 was surprise hit when released theatrically on Friday, August 1, 1986 as people packed up movie houses to see Jason at his evil deeds.

In this sequel, Tommy Jarvis (b-film babe Thom Matthews)along with his friend Alan Hawes (Welcome Back Kotters' Horshack - Ron Palillo) go to the cemetary to dig up Jason's grave, believing he is not dead. Thier worst fears are confirmed as Jason comes back to life by bolts of lightening - and this sequel lives up to its title, JASON LIVES !

FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 6 is filled with one liners and comical bits to fluffen up this fun horror film. Upon Jason's resurrection, he goes back to the camp, targets on the camp counsellors and even pays the kiddies a visit, a first in the series. This films' intro gets the James Bond 007 treatment, feautures Tony Goldwyn (who became recognized in 1990's Ghost) and has an ending I thought was the best ending in the film series. JASON LIVES in definitely fun to watch from beginning to end.

I bought the DVD this week and I can say I am glad that I did. First, the DVD cover and the menu board are designed very BADLY and is all bad !Paramount should have left the original artwork alone. Alongside, this film is presented in standard widescreen (1.85:1) with Digital Dolby Surrond 2.0 Sound (a first in the series)that sound much better than the first five films on DVD. JASON LIVES' picture quality is in my opinion, the best transfer to DVD I have seen. With hardly no blemishes, grain and dirt, I was very pleased with the picture quality of JASON LIVES. Also, with lacking extras (Paramount's specialty), there is a teaser trailer that I thought was well done. I was hoping for a theatrical trailer, too. That, was not included.

Overall, JASON LIVES is the one to have on DVD and is overall fun. Too bad the DVD cover artwork is shoddy. A case of "don't judge a book by its cover".

4-0 out of 5 stars Fady Ghaly's reviews
This entry in the series-described by many other reviewers as being the "coolest"-surprisingly had a great sense of humor, and although it is wittier than it is frightening, it still manages to offer a few honest shocks and an underlying feeling of tensity. And speaking of the word "shocks", this completely re-created Jason that is featured in this one is given a change that is ever so drastic to the former ones, in both physical and mental aspects that were ever so suitable for his character in general. For he now has transfigured into this unstoppable killing machine, this decaying zombie-like stalker who's beyond from being scarier than he ever was, which makes matters all but more entertaining as it even builds up greater tension. No longer does he run after his victims or whimper when he's injured, because from the looks of it...he no longer feels any pain. He's become completely impassive. The filmmakers really gave us a treat this time. First it was the infamous hockey mask, and now it's an entirely new Jason! What is so unique and realistic about him is that the filmmakers kept in mind of the period of time he spent beneath soil, and so bother to expose of the affect that has upon his maturing carcass, as you actually observe maggots swarming all throughout his face in the beginning as he awoke, indulging upon his flesh and such...or whatever remained of it, anyway. It's brilliant!
And I was glad over the comeback-the actual comeback-of Tommy Jarvis's character, played by Thom Matthews this time rather than Corey Feldman. It's always interesting to see the reaction a character has when realizing that his worst nightmare, one to completely disintegrate the joyous individual in whom he once was, has re-awakened to rather than torment him in his dreams, do so in the flesh. (Whatever remained of it, anyway.)

3-0 out of 5 stars A Good Slasher
Friday The 13th 6 is a trash film. That much is obvious. Does that mean it can't be fun and entertaining? Of course not. Jason is ressurected again and begins a new batch of killings at the newly renamed Camp Crystal Lake. The movie has a more stylish direction to it than the others. What this movie also delivers a sense of humor. This is something that was lacking from the others. Once again, the storyline is another rehash of every other Friday The 13th movie. Just be aware of that before you see this expecting intelligent filmmaking.

1-0 out of 5 stars THE MOVIE IS GOOD THE DVD IS BAD
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 6 JASON LIVES is one of the best horror movies i ever seen but this DVD just [stinks]... i mean it's just in stereo no 5.1 surround sound no behind the scenes no feature commentary track with director Tom Mcloughlin and no DIRECTOR'S CUT do not buy this evil DVD it [stinks]... ... The made-for-TV Murder in Greenwich is a true crime story with a twist: the sleuth in pursuit of the truth here is former LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman, who gained infamy during the O.J. Simpson trial. Greenwich opens in 1997 with Fuhrman (Christopher Meloni of Oz), having relocated to Idaho and become a successful author, obsessed by the murder of Martha Moxley, a young woman from a wealthy Connecticut family who was brutally killed by an unknown assailant 22 years earlier. Fuhrman heads east, where his presence causes friction with the local law. But with the help of a retired cop (Robert Forster) who worked on the case, Fuhrman cuts through a maze of mismanaged investigations and cover-ups to place new suspicion on Moxley's wastrel neighbors, the Skakel brothers, who have familial ties to the Kennedys. Excellent performances by Meloni and Forster and direction make this a worthwhile case for true-crime buffs. --Paul Gaita ... Read more
