3-0 out of 5 stars Delightful Sleaze and B-Movie Values
An open affront to all things politically correct, this movie has many things going for it, none of them good save for the fact that it is an open affront to all things politically correct. Amazingly exploitative of women, "The Abductors" is impossible to take seriously as a white slavery film because the abducted women never seem to be in any real danger. Ginger (the "female James Bond") and her boss are laughably incompetent, but the villains are even worse. Continuity errors abound, and the acting is frequently so bad your jaw drops in wonder.

Which is why I recommend this film. It fails so completely at what it tries to do that it's actually fun to watch. Long after the sex scenes become boring you will find yourself laughing anew at some production blunder you missed before, some poor bit actor giving impossibly silly lines with his pants down, and a final scene whose melodramatic badness is just beyond my ability to describe.

5-0 out of 5 stars I thought this movie was great!
I got this movie on a whim. It's not the sort of movie I usually get, but I was pleasantly surprised. After seeing it, I tried to find one like it,.. but other titles don't quite capture the same essence.

5-0 out of 5 stars total disagreement
one star? this is a great movie! blends splendid nudity, action and an outstanding tongue-in-cheek performance by cheri caffaro.

1-0 out of 5 stars So sleazy you actually giggle at some points!
Sleazy 70s exploitation film with some panache features super-agent Ginger chasing down white slavers. Ample sex and violence will please certain contingents while semi-feminist heroine, campy dialogue will satisfy others. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Three is not the charm
This is the third film in the "Ginger Trilogy", featuring Cheri Cafarro as Ginger, "the female James Bond". Ginger is once again called upon to offer her body for her country, as she goes up against Ronnie St. Clair, the Anti-Ginger, a woman who similarly has no compunctions about using her sexuality to get what she wants - in this case, kidnapping two diplomats to milk an upcoming trade agreement for lots and lots of money. The Ginger movies would never be made today - these Politically Correct times would never allow it - but this, the last and most expensive of the three, concentrates more on the plot than the gleeful sleazery of the first two films, making it less of a successful Ginger film and more of a failed spy movie. The first two, "Ginger" and "The Abductors", are better examples of early 70's drive-in sexploitation. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars I can't believe I spent more then 10 bucks for this
Perhaps at the time this was considered a great movie. Me being a bondage fan was looking forward to this film with high enthusiasm. What I found was just far too low in terms of quality. I'm not looking for James Cameron quality but I was expecting this film to stress on the fantasy as opposed to straight-out sex in every scenario.

To keep it short.

Pros: some decent looking women and has bondage.
Cons: the women may be decent looking but don't meet what you'd expect, poor execution, you should stick to watching Baywatch.

3-0 out of 5 stars The First is the Sleaziest
The first in a trilogy of films starring Cheri Cafarro (the winner of a Bridget Bardot look-alike contest) as Ginger MacAllister, "the female James Bond". Ginger, although she has no training in things like law enforcement or detective work, is recruited by an agency to take down a small time blackmail and drug ring in New Jersey. Copious nudity and badly-staged violence probably made this one a big hit at the drive-ins. The other two films, "The Abductors" and "Girls Are For Loving" had bigger budgets, and ALL rate VERY low on the Political Correctness scale. Your enjoyment will be directly related to your taste for sleazery. ... Read more
