4-0 out of 5 stars Another Great Interactive DVD
This dvd is similar to the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" DVD that is an interactive adventure DVD, and is made by the same company. It's lots of fun, and worth the money. If you want the episodes, you should buy the season video sets.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not an EPISODE!!!
I bought this thinking it would finally be an episode on dvd for Americans to buy. Wrong. It is just a animated game. (...)

3-0 out of 5 stars Another Multipath adventure...
This is the second Xena Multipath adventure, FYI...It's not an actual episode. The description doesn't state that above but it really should. It is based on the episode of the same name and is an computer-animated adventure where at certain points along the course of the story, you decide the actions of a particlular character, resulting in one of several endings. However, most of it is not participatory - you're actually watching the computer-animated adventure most of the time, and it dies move along a bit slowly. This does *not* feature voices from the original Xena cast, which is most unfortunate - I did not like the voice for Gabby's character, and as a fan, I think you may find that these Multipaths leave a bit more to be desired. Try getting a used copy for [$$$] USD or so. Also, they are floating around the internet for a free play...you can also save the file on your computer for play anytime you wish. This DVD can be utilized in any DVD player.

1-0 out of 5 stars can someone please tell me what the helicon this is ?
and whether as a xena fan I should buy it?

Does it contain any images, moving or otherwise of lucy lawless, for example ?

1-0 out of 5 stars THIS IS A CARTOON NOT AN EPISODE
For all of us who are waiting for Xena dvds for region 1 (USA), this is not it.....it is merely some cartoon interactive video game. I am not reviewing it, because I am leaving it unopened, and returning it today....what a disappointment ... Read more

The second season of Andromeda unveils a change in approach. A new traditionally heroic title theme, accompanied by rousing voice-over, is one noticeable difference. Another is Kevin Sorbo's even shorter haircut! But it's back to the gore and violence that marked the cliffhanging finale of the first year with "The Widening Gyre," in which many perils are resolved while others are revealed. An all-too-short deadline is also imposed on Dylan's Commonwealth dream (confirming the show's additional two-season renewal), when it's confirmed how long it will be before the traveling Magog arrive. "Exit Strategies" is all about inner demons. Poor Harper is left with a very real internal problem that leads him to contemplate the unthinkable. Rommie is wrestling with an alternate physical self. Rev is battling his religious conscience against his very survival. With so much B-plot, you could almost overlook the main story that sees the Maru crash land on an ice world--if the dazzling FX would let you, that is. Beka gets an overdue share of romantic attention in "A Heart for Falsehood Framed." A sacred gem is the nub of a diplomatic dispute. In typically unpredictable fashion, the plot contrives to see all interested parties caught up in a multi-layered game of switching fakes.--Paul Tonks ... Read more

Continuing Andromeda's second season, some new angles appear in "Pitiless as the Sun." In case anyone's forgotten, Trance is given opportunity to thicken the mystery surrounding exactly what she is. This occurs as we meet a brand-new adversary, the unsavory Pyrians. Xenophobia, drug addiction, and slavery are all scrutinized in this episode--enough plot for an X-File. Which is funny since Cigarette-Smoking Man William B. Davis guest stars. Hunting for a once-glorious leader who would benefit Dylan's cause, the Maru and crew make a "Last Call at the Broken Hammer," a run-down bar in the middle of a wasteland. There are lots of twists in a mystery of hidden identities and agendas amongst the bar's patrons. Watch out for Gordon Woolvett's real-life wife among them. Another welcome sight in this episode is a change of wardrobe for the regulars, who have been sweating it out in the same gear for far too long. --Paul Tonks ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I hope the studio takes notice
I just felt I have to add my 2 cents and hope the execs at the studio notice what us fans are saying. We want to see the Magnificent Seven on DVD! The complete series please.

I absolutely loved this show and was disappointed when it was cancelled. While I understand these things happen sometimes I think it was unfair. It was a wonderfully entertaining show. I was drawn to it by Dale Midkiff, Ron Perlman and Andy Kavovit who I had watched on Time Trax, Beauty and the Beast and As the World Turns respectively. They were great to watch, along with Rick Worthy, Micheal Biehn, Eric Close and Tony Starke.

I never was a big fan of westerns, but this one was exciting, filled with equal parts action and humor. I was hooked from the get-go!

Well, I certainly hope us fans are noticed and we'll see this show released on DVD soon!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Magnificent Seven Rule
The Magnificent Seven was the best western television series ever made. All twenty-three episodes provided drama, humor, and the comraderie missing in 'modern-day' television. Michael Biehn as Chris Larabee, Eric Close as Vin Tanner, Ron Perlman as Josiah Sanchez, Dale Midkiff as Buck Wilmington, Andy Kavovit as JD Dunne, Tony Stark as Ezra Standish, and Rick Worthy as Nathan Jackson...all gave believable performances. Robert Vaughn, Tyne Daly, Jeff Kober, among other, were wonderful guest stars. My heart broke when this series was cancelled a second time. I believe the pilot and entire series have earned a DVD. Extras would be much appreciated such as bloopers, behind the scenes, etc. If you've never seen an episode, you've missed out.

5-0 out of 5 stars When will the wait be over?
I only saw the 'Magnificent Seven' TV series very sporadically in the UK - it kept getting 'bounced' from the TV schedules in favour of sporting events - but I was totally hooked on the episodes I saw.
The storylines were action-packed, humurous, moralistc and pertinent even to our modern world. The cast were awesome, and each talented actor was given the chance to shine either individually or as a collective. There was not a single weak episode made, and the writing and directing was superb too. In short, this superlative TV western series should never have been cancelled. But it was.
But what is perhaps an even greater travesty, is that the studio/owners haven't yet released the show on DVD. Surely this is a major oversight? I would love to own the complete series on DVD, and the show's universal appeal to young and old alike, means that my elderly parents also want to purchase the 'Magnificent Seven' TV series on disc.
I hope the show is earmarked for DVD release soon. It would make my year!

5-0 out of 5 stars Do We Have To Beg? Please~!
Now, I do believe that we deserve to have our fav boys on DVD!! I really hope that the studio would release it, because there are lots of fans who are truely in love with the show, but haven't watched a single episode!! Well, take ME for an example, I've fallen hard for the guys only through reading their bios and reading couple of fics... and now, I consider myself one of the biggest fans!

I do believe that plenty of fans would be more than pleased once the Magnificent 7 get released on DVD, and more than many would hurry to get their own copy. So, speaking on the behalf of all the fans who hadn't had the chance to watch these boys do their magic, WE WANT THE SERIES ON DVD!!!

With no doubt, once you take as much as a glimpse of the show, you'd get hooked. It's one of the best series I've ever heard of (unfortunately, not watched), and the fans are growing in the speed of light and there's no wonder why! It would be more than great to get the series on DVD, and I plan to buy my own copy once it's released.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Seven on DVD
Having recently caught most of the episodes on late-night tv here in the Netherlands, I've become a fan of this excellent show, and wonder why it was cancelled after only two seasons. I fear that the current preoccupation with reality tv has been the kiss of death to such quality productions . If any of you studio execs have an ounce of soul, you'll (1) get seasons 1 & 2 onto DVD (region-free?) (2) revive the show with the same outstanding cast. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very very good movie
The music in this motion picture is absolutely fabulous, makes the entire movie flow seamlessly. A lot of violence and interfering gods, should be watched by the entire family. My children and I love it and watch it often.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply Fantastic!
This is a really great movie! Ian Bohen's performance as the serious, yet fun teenage Hercules is truly award worthy! He seemed to capure the escence of the part that Kevin Sorbo recently made famous a bit more than Ryan Gosling, who played Young Hercules in the T.V. series. And, he's increadably cute! Dean O'Gorman played Iolas to a "T". Chris Conrad did not disappoint with his portrayal of the always serious, and determined, Young Jason. The chemistry between the actors makes the film even more enjoyable. It really looks like they're having fun working together! Another key character is Ares, played by Kevin Smith. He, as always, gives a truly inspired performance as the deliciously evil God of War. The director should really be accredited for casting such a talented group of actors, and using thier abilities to thier full potential. The breath-taking scenery of the New Zealand countryside is the backdrop of this innovative film. It was only fitting that the "Young Hercules" movie was shot in the same location of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys". The soundtrack is also amazing. It really fits the tone and overall feel of the movie. It should definately not be missed!

4-0 out of 5 stars Before the Legendary Journeys...
Considering they used pretty much the same production team as they did with H:TLJ, it was okay. No it wasn't the same, but it was close. This is before Hercules had his legendary journeys. It shows young Herc trying to impress his father and forging an unlikely friendship with Ioalus to help their new friend Jason, heir to the throne of Corinth. With the same crew that brought us "HTLJ" & "XWP" it's perfect.

Kevin Smith as Ares, Michael Hurst as a jeweler, & Meighan Desmond as Discord make appearances.

5-0 out of 5 stars You Will Love This Movie
I have always loved Greek mythology so I loved this movie. I will not lie, you will get the most enjoyment out of this movie if you are a teenage girl, but it is also a good family movie. I loved the short lived :( series, so I was so excited to get this movie. Do not watch this if you like movies with really deep, complex story lines. This is just a good movie if you want to kick back and relax.

3-0 out of 5 stars Its was okay
The story line in the movie was okay but they messed around with myths too much and the camera movement was too much ... Read more
