5-0 out of 5 stars This Werewolf movie RULEZ!!! BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!
I wrote this for the other edition of Werewolf aswell, both are great!

This movie is perfect to watch around halloween time, you`ll see what I mean when you watch Werewolf!!
!

I will narrow it down short like this. This is what you will see in Tony Zarindast`s Werewolf!
The werewolf on the box isn`t even in the movie and it looks like the box is from another film. There are more than two kinds of werewolfs. One has two kind of hands and another has
two different heads and a pony tail.Another looks like a bear and the the full moon lasts longer than a week and a woman has five screams and doesn`t have her own and don`t miss Sam The Keeper,he is so funny and the actors seem forign and have multiple accents and one actor changes his hair
style and color almost a dozen times and Arizona has palm trees and the desert rocks has graffiti all over them and you see the camra man`s shadow several times and you hear the man behind the mask make sound effects on his own and Tony Zarindast has a part and turns into a werewolf while driving his car and even the effects man Mark Williams has a part in Werewolf!I just love this movie. If you like beyond silly movies then don`t pass this one up,you`ll laugh and laugh all night long!

1-0 out of 5 stars NO STARS REALLY
Horribly abysmal, mindless, poorly acted, directed, written, you name it..this movie is so bad, it's not even funny!!!!! Avoid at all costs!

1-0 out of 5 stars I actually sat through this...who am I kidding?
...my finger was on the fastforward button most of the way. But never fear, I did see all the 'good parts', which I will be sure to list in a moment. So, consider this a review of half the movie. The part I saw was worth half a star, so maybe the rest was worth maybe another half a star.

Where to start, where to start? How about my excuse for checking this out; my friend was actually the one who bought it, and I had been eyeing the dvd on his shelf for awhile. Time after time I asked to borrow it, and time after time he warned me not to. In true horror movie fashion, I didn't heed his advice...and paid for it...

Ah, but there are laughs aplenty. I'll go in order: the opening fight scene is a riot, with so many missed punches you would think they were shadow boxing. Mr. Estevez, who looks like a rattier version of Emilio, plays one of the workers leery of a recently excavated werewolf skeleton that has - bone ears. I would be leery as well. This is followed by alot of silliness. One of the workers was cut by the jawbone of the skeleton and turns into a wolf over the course of twenty long movie minutes in one of the most tedious transformations in werewolf history. He then alternates in appearance from hairy wolfman makeup to ape suit to hand puppet. Good stuff.

And then our hero is infected with werewolf-itis, and his girlfriend, talking like the great-grandaughter of the gypsy woman in 'The Wolfman' proclaims 'Paul, you eez war-wulf'. He then hilariously twitches as he changes to romp after a couple making out.

This leads to two of my favorite scenes. 1) he kills a young girl, chasing her through the night. She falls into a mud puddle and attacks! He throws her into the puddle - and looks at the camera as if the director tells him, 'hey man, you've got to kill her now.' Then he pounces, necking her better than her lover did moments earlier. 2) Yes, the pool hall scene. Tons of fluff, and no one notices the hero changing into a werewolf right at the booth! He then rampages through the hall, kills two men outside its door and runs off. ...moments later, cut back to the hall and the bodies are gone, a few people enter and everyone's still having a good time. His girl is still playing pool and it's super.

I'm not sure if the straight faces managed by the cast are due to the skill or unawareness of the actors that what they were doing was utterly terrible. And think, it took two guys to write the script! If you want jump cuts galore, no gore, shaggy ape suits, dreadful day for night photography, and a story that makes no sense - check this one out!

4-0 out of 5 stars This Werewolf movie is so cool!
Basicly what this werewolf movie is a low budget laugh fest and that`s what makes it good.I have seen Werewolf several times and each time I watched the film it gets better and better! I will tell a few things that happens in Werewolf. We see Sam the Keeper who is basicly a Santa Clause in hunter gear with a shotgun that he says that it keeps the flies down.He also gives alot more info in the film.Another honerable mention is when Joe Estevez and his friend has silver bullets and we don`t even know how they got themand who could ever forget when Paul was in his house teasing to be a werewolf! He just stops transforming when when Natilie came in,that there was the was great part of the film! There is alot more of mistakes including terrable editing and really bad dialouge but that doesn`t bother me because that what makes Werewolf special. I really like this movie because just about everything is entertaining. If you are looking to buy or looking to see a new werewolf flick look nofurther than to get Werewolf! It`s one of my favorite films and I think it`ll be one of your`s too!

5-0 out of 5 stars Tsih movie is da scariest!
THIS ONE has the best effects id ever seen in a movie in my life, and the guy who plays the werewolf should of got an Oscar ward for it because he made the best performance ever! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great discriptions on the Wereolf legend!
Werewolf is the ultimate werewolf movie! It stars Richard Lynch,Jorge Rivero,Joe Estevez, and R.C.Bates and among others. With a cast like that how can you go wrong? It is directed by under-rated Writer,Producer,Director, and Actor Tony Zarindast. With no question Werewolf is no blockbuster and it is a low budget film indeed. It doesn`t have the best effects and the rest of the things a film needs but it follows so close to the native american legend that is what i really like about this movie. For example take the following quote from from film said by veteran actor Richard Lynch:

They can also tell when a man is Yalloglanchie. He takes on a series of strange body habits, like sleeping like a coyote, nose to [bottom]. The house begins to smell like coyote urine.

The above quote could be based on fact. It may not be but whether that and other quotes in the film about the myth are true or false i really like to watch this film because of the way the actors tell bout the acient legends.

2-0 out of 5 stars Choppy plot, inconsistant characterization, plot holes...
I'm a fan of werewolf movies and books, and I have to say this movie bites. (No pun intended). The movie starts out in an Archaeological dig. So far, so good. As our intrepid crew of clueless Anglo archaeologists are unearthing a dig on Indian territory the bullied Native American workers unearth the bones of a centuries old loup garou.

As the crew are exulting over the find, (the werewolf skeleton), one of the archaeologists, Yuri, picks a fight with one of the workers causing him to fall on the bones and get cut. This worker is rushed to the hospital, where he turns into a werewolf. Next scene: Evil Anglo archaeologists are celebrating their 'find of a lifetime' and are just about to plan on how they can get more funding for their research, when the news of the worker's rampage reaches them.

What follows is a choppy plot, wherein, Yuri, taking a sample of the infected worker's blood, deliberately infecting a security guard in the hope of making a real life werewolf to exploit to the meida. The plan goes awry, as lycanthropy is spread unwittingly throughout the town.

This movie was simply cheesy. The acting was terrible, and every possible stereotype was exploited to its full potential. From running girl, tripping and falling and savaged by the monster to the evil Anglo 'mad scientist's' intent on making millions with their brilliant research.

What really bothered me the most about this movie, though, was that, half way through the movie the entire cast seemed to be replaced by an entirely DIFFERENT cast, and the focus of the movie shifted entirely. What happened to the Native American worker in the hospital? What happened to the skeleton? I guess we'll never know... And perhaps that's a good thing.... Next.....

4-0 out of 5 stars Werewolf is so good to watch over and over again!
Werewolf is such cool film and the more you watch it the more you`ll like it! You see I am a proud owner of this film and I have seen it countless times now! It is so fun see from beginning to end and my favorite part in it is when Fred Cavalli thru Heidi Bjorn over the rail and down the stairs! That was excellent! I really hope you give this movie a chance and I strongly suggest that Werewolf and horror fans alike see this movie!

4-0 out of 5 stars Werewolf is a perfect film to see around Halloween!
I just want to say that just because the budget is low in Werewolf doesn`t mean that the film is bad.Ofcourse it has bad editing and the usual but this movie has such a halloweenish atmosphere that it is just a right film to watch around the spookiest time of the year,Halloween! Plus Jorge Rivero acted quite well and dispite Richard Lynch`s short part he too also pulled it off. Fred Cavalli is no Lon Chaney jr. but he is acceptable. There is just something about this film and I can`t say what makes Werewolf so good. When Tony Zarindast directed and produced Werewolf he really out did his self here. I am hoping to see a sequel to this fine movie in the near future!

1-0 out of 5 stars the MOST STUPID movie in the world!
Don't waste your time to watch this movie.
stupid acting, stupid make-up. Even the werewolf itself
will say "WHAT A WASTE OF MY TALENT TO SCARE PEOPLE!" HA HA HA! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Hardsell And Punchdrunk!
Ted Prior plays Bud McCall, aka Hardcase. He's an honest cop who is framed for drug possession by his crooked partner Vincent (Vincent Barbi). Before he can testify to the FBI about his partner, he is sent to prison. Carter Wong plays Eddy Lee, aka Fist. He is Hardcase's cellmate, and the two quickly become friends. Hardcase shoots first and asks questions later, while Fist uses kung fu to fight the bad guys. Fist also speaks broken English with a thick accent, which makes it hard to understand what he's saying most of the time. The mob wants Hardcase killed before he can testify, so they choose Tony Marino to finish him off. Tony is played by the multi-talented Tony Zarindast, who also wrote and directed this film. What the mob doesn't know is that Tony can't bring himself to whack Hardcase, because Hardcase saved his life when they were fighting in Vietnam. I won't bore you with the rest of the plot. Suffice to say, Hardcase and Fist are busted out of prison, there's a lot of fight scenes, and many people get shot and killed during the course of this movie. The biggest disappointment with this movie concerns Angelyne, a blonde bombshell who is mentioned on the back of the DVD. Angelyne appears on stage in a seedy bar, but is only on camera for a few seconds. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WEREWOLF and VOODOO COMBO RULEZ!!! BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!
Werewolf has a great scene where a werewolf is chasing down a woman in in the middle of nowhere. Before she fell in a big pool of mud we see her white dress was already dirty and if that wasn`t enough she has about five different screams and none of them is coming out of her mouth! This was a such a cool scene! Another memorable scene is where Carrie comes in the house, puts her car keys in her jacket pocket and asks Paul if he is home and he responds being a werewolf and he throws her really hard over the railing and down the stairs and her keys still stays in her pocket and the camra shows the werewolf like he is the hero and she is the villian!Watch for the camra man`s shadow thru out the film and near the end look for grafitti on the desert rocks and watch Joe Estevez and Randall Oliver talk about their silver bullets when it was never explained how and when they got them!Watch for Jorge Rivero to have nearly a dozen differenr hair styles and Tony Zarindast as a werewolf driving a car!A excellent cast is in Werewolf including special appearances by Tony Zarindast,Tony Bova,Neena Belini,R.C.Bates as Sam "The Keeper"(he is such a cool dude)and the special makeup man Mark Williams!I just love lauging at this movie. It`s one heck of a werewolf flick! I love Werewolf!

Voodoo is ok but it is nothing compared to Werewolf! The best part in it is seeing Sara Douglas.Nuff said!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow,a real nail-biter..................
This is by far and away,Corey's greatest cinematic achievement to date.We must dismiss all of Corey's past works, because he was a mere child with overbearing parents with addictions.Corey was extremely convincing as a 27 year old college freshman trying to fit in with a covertly demonic fraternity......O.K.....I admit it,it was lame. But,I was an extra in the movie,so watch it and hope you all enjoy my performance.

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor Corey Feldman
This Movie is typical of bad strait to video horror flicks. A college student, Andy, transfers to a new school, the "cool" kids don't like him, his girlfriend doesn't seem to either, and the result is that he falls in with the wrong crowd. And boy is it the wrong crowd. A bunch of bad actors playing a voodoo cult posing as a fraternity. Eventually Andy catches on that there is something unusual with this group of guys, but not before they make him do a seemingly endless string of bizarre antics.

The interesting, or perhaps the intriguing, event of this film is not any one scene in the movie, but the star, Corey Feldman. Feldman, at least to me, is kind of a cult icon. He had roles in some of the great coming of age/teen idol films of the 80's. As far as I can tell this was the last film he was in. Which I think is just too bad. I would love to see Corey get back in the movies, and back in roles where he can shine. I guess it probably won't happen, but hey, he is above this film.

5-0 out of 5 stars Who's the wonderful young actress?
Diana Nadeau, that's who. Delivering a heart felt performance is natural for this girl next door with her totally organic acting. This wonderful up-and-comming thespian can also be seen in The Westing Game along side Sally Kirkland.

5-0 out of 5 stars A wicked feature!
Voodoo is one of the few movies that are truley worth watching. Am I saying that its good? Heck no! I am saying I would watch it again and again due to the extreme creepiness of the film. Was it intended to be creepy? Not in the way i'm talking about! It seems to be that everyone in the movie is trying to be hip and hot. I guess they got what they wanted... in 1995! I suggest you watch for the guy who shakes.. he is hot! ... Read more
