Great Video!!
The video was a lot different from what I was used to seeing in abs video and I was pleasantly surprised. Most of the videos I own are complete workouts from beginning to end without much attention to technique. I just follow along with an instructor and repeat what they do. This video focuses more on the small details which apparently is what I needed. I now spend less time working my abs and I am seeing more results. As far as "production value" goes, I don't care where it was filmed as long as it works for me - and it does! The focus of the video was on exercises you can do at home, so I guess I would expect it to be filmed in someone's house. I stopped by the company website after watching the video and sent them an email to say thanks. I got a reply in less than an hour and even got some tips on my diet!! I think this video was worth every penny.

Caviat Emptor - Buyer Beware!
I bought this DVD in spite of it's high price tag ($39.95) since there were several really good reviews. BIG MISTAKE!!! This is a very basic DVD with low-to-mediocre production values. It appears to have been shot in someone's house in front of some closet doors and in an unfinished basement/garage.

The best part of the DVD is the very beginning where we are shown some HOT beefcake photos of the two instructors...it's downhill from there.

My advice to you is to pass on purchasing this DVD. Better yet, get off of your ass and do some crunches instead of watching someone else do them.

O.K. DVD
Alot of the information given was helpful. Mark and Mark both have excellent bodies which can be very inspirational at most.
I would have liked to see a complete routine at some point that could be followed instead of giving numerous excercises and then needing to develop your own routine by choosing from them. It was also very low budget, being filmed in an unfinished room somewhere. I expected alot more from such an over-priced DVD.

Hard work and dedication...
Mark and Mark know that it takes hard work and dedication to produce hard, defined abs. None of this "three-minutes-a-day-and-you'll-have-a-firmer-waistline-stuff". Sure they could have produced one of those videos, but they offer those who follow their routine something much more. They not only offer well defined abs, but truly strong stomach muscles as well. And having a strong midsection is important to you're overall weightlifting experience. This video gives a no-frills approach to anyone willing to take the time and energy it really requires to sculpt really great abs. Thanks guys.
